Great beginners steel pan! Easy to set up and use, sturdy, and good quality - also comes with a cute little song book to get you started. Would recommend!

👍🏽👍🏽 Great sound quality for the price point 👍🏽👍🏽 Sturdy metal drum. 👍🏽👍🏽 SUPER easy to play 👍🏽👍🏽 The rubber mallets that are included sound better than the nicer mallets we have. 👎🏽 The plastic stand is a thicker, nice plastic but is still unstable enough that I deducted a star in the “Studiness” category. 👎🏽 The metal drum has been spray-painted with silver paint. It’s not a dipped or powder coated. Whether this will affect the life of the drum depends on if the exposed/unpainted metal on the underside is susceptible to rust. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall it’s a 5 star item for this price point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😆 Each of the notes are hand written on the drum with a permanent marker which is displayed in the product pictures but somehow I overlooked it. It’s not a dealbreaker but in this day and age it’s kind of funny

Bought this for myself to learn the pan and bring sounds of home back into my life here in Texas. Was pleasantly surprised by the sound and sturdiness. Have had a great time learning. Light and easy so children can use, too.

My 35 year old son, 32 year old son both played these drums with the little two year old at the Missouri Botanical Garden's Christmas Glow as this was "Twelve Drummers Drumming". I love the sound but was surprised when my DIL suggested I get it as a gift for the 35 year old. I told her he might drive her crazy with it and she assured me that was okay. Fast forward to Christmas and son is thrilled with the drum and DIL is working on Jingle Bells and intends to have Deck the Halls ready for next year. When my other son found out his older brother got this drum, he bellowed, " I want one." Sound is so enticing and reminds me of being in the Caribbean.

Bought as as Christmas gift from grammy, my grandson is special needs, bangs on our propane tank constantly with whatever stick or rock, thought if he likes the sound of steel, maybe a steel drum would be a little gentler on our ears. He loves it! Still in the learning curve, but way better on our ears!! We all play it! Thanks so much for providing an affordable alternative and gentle drumming, no more banging on the propane tank!

This was a gift for my kids to help introduce Trinidadian culture to them. COVID has prevented travel to the island and was happy to find a quality pan on Amazon at a reasonable price. Though inexperienced we learned to play some Christmas tunes and brought some of the island sounds into our home.

This is the perfect steel pan for beginners! Really great for both kids and adults alike! It has a very crisp sound on all of the notes except one, but really, only a trained ear can discern the difference. It's fabulous and I would highly recommend it!

Lovely quality and a beautiful tone. Easy to play using the music using letters for the notes even if you have no musical experience. Would have liked more music with the letters.

It is such fun to play, even if you are just making random tunes like my grandson enjoys doing. The sound is so relaxing. I also bought a music book to go with it and it has the background drums, etc. that you can play along with.
