Highly recommended for podcasters ready to invest in quality.
After six months of using the Shure MV7+ for my weekly podcast, I can confidently say this microphone delivers professional results with surprising ease of use.The sound is crisp, warm, and broadcast-ready straight out of the box. The dynamic pickup pattern effectively rejects background noise, which is crucial in my less-than-perfect home office setup. Voice clarity is exceptional, and the reverb effects add nice polish when needed, though I typically keep them minimal.Having both USB-C and XLR outputs is incredibly convenient. I use USB-C for quick recordings and XLR when connecting to my audio interface for more complex productions. The OBS certification means seamless streaming integration. Build quality feels premium and roadworthy - exactly what you'd expect from Shure. The white finish, while sleek, shows dust and fingerprints easily. The price point is steep for beginners, though justified by the feature set. Occasionally, the touch panel can be overly sensitive, leading to accidental adjustments. The MV7+ strikes an excellent balance between professional capability and user-friendly operation. It's practically plug-and-play for beginners while offering the depth serious podcasters need. While pricey, the audio quality and convenience features make it worthwhile for anyone serious about content creation.

This mic made me love my voice
As someone who has been recording with gaming mics and phone-quality audio for most of my life, I can confidently say that the Shure MV7+ is a game-changer. This is my first professional microphone, and it has truly transformed the way I capture my voice. Previously, I was never satisfied with how my voice sounded in videos and recordings. The audio quality was subpar, and it often left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. With the Shure MV7+ microphone, everything changed. The clarity and richness of my voice recordings are now on a whole new level. The microphone does an exceptional job of capturing the nuances of my voice, allowing me to express myself with greater confidence and authenticity. I have fallen in love with how my voice sounds, and it has reignited my passion for recording. The build quality of the Shure MV7+ is impressive. The microphone feels solid and well-constructed, giving me confidence that it will last for years to come. It's clear that Shure put a lot of thought and care into the design, ensuring that it not only looks professional but also performs exceptionally well. Despite its premium price tag, the microphone does not disappoint. It delivers on its promises and provides excellent value for money. One of the standout features of the Shure MV7+ is its versatility. Whether I'm recording a podcast, streaming, or creating voice-over content, this microphone excels in all scenarios. It offers both USB and XLR connectivity, making it compatible with a wide range of devices and setups. The intuitive touch panel controls allow for easy adjustments to gain, monitoring volume, and more, without the need for additional software. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Shure MV7+ for anyone looking to level up their voice recordings. It's an investment that pays off in spades, providing high-quality audio that can elevate your content and enhance your overall recording experience.

IMPRESSIVE and looks great
Better than expected. I got the white to look nice with my desk setup. App is simple to load from their site and set up. Got a fuzzy cover for some extra echo absorption but the P's still can pop at times (that's more on me). WORTH THE MONEY and I can see (hear) why this is highly regarded.

Fantastic quality mic
Has really nice Mic sound quality and works really well with the Elgato Wave XLR. I like that it comes with a little cover. Feels very sturdy and I'm hoping the value last for years to come with whatever I end up doing. Great value.

High quality, great sound
I like the Shure MV7+. Easy to set up- sound quality is what I was looking for. While I did have a good set of Jabra headphones, the Shure microphone gives me a richer sound quality which is great for recordings. The white style fit what I wanted as well. I record in my office, the tone quality is so good, I don't need to edit out any background noise- thus far, even the "pops" are not there.

It’s Shure. Professional Grade Equipment.
I’m a HUGE Shure fan. I’ve got 5 mics from them including 2 MV7X and this MV7+.All three of the MV7s work great for my podcast. With some effects layered in, these EASILY sound as good as the infamous SM7b.The MV7+ does a great job. The USBC capability really makes everything THAT much easier. Allows for the touch pad to light up and mute/unmute. Kind of gimmicky if you ask me but it’s got its moments. The white color is so clean looking. If anyone is wondering, the MV7+ DOES come with a longer foam filter than the MV7X which combats the P pops MUCH better than the Xs shorty filter. It’s nearly the same length as the SM7b filter which is what so many people get to put on the MV7 units. The ONLY complaint I have is that in USBC mode using the provided cable, I get an occasional static noise. It’s possible that it’s my MacBook being funky but I doubt it. I use XLR mostly but the ability to use USBC directly into my iPhone is BADASS for TikTok and other apps that you do short form content with. Nice crispy audio goes a LONG way.10/10

Best Mic I've Used
(Reviewed by my 16 year old son)Upgraded from a fiffine microphone (the AM8), and I have to say, the difference is definitely noticeable in the quality of the microphone. When gaming/typing, the keyboard can't be heard, as long as I am talking, due to its built in noise cancelation. When I loaded into public games while using this microphone, many people told me the mic sounded really good, lol. The good thing about this mic, that I didn't really find in other mics, is that you don't have to be super close to it to have crisp audio. I have it about 4-5 inches from my face when using it, and it sounds like it is maybe 1 or 2 inches away. The mute RGB bar on the mic is super easy to click, and turns red when muted, so i don't have to worry about making sure I'm muted. A really good mic, but very pricey. I would mainly recommend if you stream/create content.

Great mic.
I have a small music studio and this mic just elevated the recording experience. Easy to use and set up. Worth the money!

Sounds great, easy installation
Sounds great, easy installation, I love the look. Used with a PC USB connection, Shure MOTIVmix app, and a RODE PSA1+ stand. Comes with a 3 m USB C-C cable which was long enough for a standing desk with the desktop on the floor on the other side of the desk. The LED lighting seemed unnecessary to me, didn't see an easy way to turn it off in the app (perhaps 'Solid' with the colour set dark).

A Huge Upgrade
As someone who’s always used budget mics, this is the best mic I’ve bought. Plug-and-play sound exceeded my expectations, and while it’s great out of the box, tweaking the settings with the supported software made it perfect for me. Very happy with my purchase.

Five Stars for the Shure MV7! An Absolute Winner!
Stellar Sound, Streamlined Control: My Review of the Shure MV7+The moment I connected the Shure MV7+, I knew my audio game had just leveled up. This microphone isn't just an upgrade; it’s a total transformation for any podcaster, streamer, or vocalist seeking professional, broadcast-quality sound without the fuss of a complex setup.A Sound That Sings (and Streams)What truly stands out is the sound. The MV7+ captures vocals with incredible warmth, clarity, and richness, delivering that signature, studio-grade dynamic mic sound popularized by the SM7B, but in a much more accessible package. My voice immediately sounded fuller and more present, requiring virtually no post-production EQ.The Digital Difference-MakerConnecting via USB-C unlocks the true genius of the MV7+. The new MOTIV Mix Desktop App is a game-changer. The Auto Level Mode is flawless—it manages my volume on the fly, ensuring perfect consistency even when I lean back or get excited. But the real magic lies in the new DSP features:Digital Popper Stopper: This is brilliant. It eliminates plosives without needing an unsightly physical foam windscreen, keeping the mic sleek.Real-time DeNoiser: It quietly and effectively cleans up background hums and computer fan noise, resulting in a remarkably quiet signal that is perfect for streaming live.Design and DelightThe new customizable LED touch panel is more than just eye-candy; it’s a brilliant visual aid. Being able to instantly see my levels and mute status in a color that matches my setup is a small detail that makes a huge difference in my workflow. And, of course, the XLR output is still there, ensuring this mic will remain a foundational piece of equipment even if I eventually move to a dedicated audio interface.Final VerdictIf you are serious about your audio, the Shure MV7+ is an essential investment. It takes the guesswork out of great sound. It's powerful, versatile, and delivers an audio experience that simply blows away the competition. Highly, highly recommended
