I am very pleased with this painting activity book. I had my first painting lesson with my granddaughter who is now 3. She was completely engaged for a full 3 hours! The pictures were exactly the right level of complexity for her - easy to understand - but interesting. There is plenty of paint and the colors are vibrant. As a former professional art educator, I found the images to be reasonably well drawn and the paper quality to be sufficient for the amount of water applied. I am planning to purchase a few of these for our annual Toys for Tots event at work. They are an excellent price point for the quality of the materials and end product.

I was expecting unicorns and rainbows, but it was not really expecting multiple pages of witches. It’s a cute book and I think it will work well. I’m not entirely excited about all of the witches, but we are going to try it out and just see what our daughter thinks. The pages are thick and having a pin that comes with the watercolors makes it seem very high-quality. I think it’ll be easy to take it places, fun to color and it’s just slightly larger than a standard board book.

It keeps them entertained without making a huge mess, which is honestly a win in my book. They stayed busy for a solid 30 minutes, which is impressive for little ones. Just add water and they can start “painting” right away. No cups of paint, no brushes to rinse over and over, no stained clothes. Cleanup is basically nothing. I also love how easy it is to throw one in a bag for vacation, restaurants, or even just errands. It’s lightweight, compact, and doesn’t require a bunch of extra supplies. Perfect for travel days. If you’re looking for something simple, mess-free, and actually engaging for toddlers and young kids, this is it. I’ll definitely be buying more.

I ordered this for my 2.5 year old daughter and I love it. This paint book keeps her busy , the water pen/brush is easy to use which prevents mess with brushes . It also comes with two brushes . The paper is heavy duty so it doesn’t bleed through easily . The paint has a glisten or sparkle look to it . The paint Dries pretty quickly which is a plus. Overall , I really like it , I recommend it and I will purchase more .

My 4 year old loved this and it kept her fully entertained when we were at a busy family restaurant eating a long dinner. The pen is easy to use, the paint colors are vibrant and the designs are cute and on thicker paper so they don’t rip easily. It fit in her toddler backpack with no issue. She loves this book!

I am very impressed. The paint and paper is great quality for this price. Love the brush. Not very messy to do the art. Good selection designs. Easy to use. Our 5 years old daughter enjoys it a lot. Highly recommend this set.

I purchased this Water Coloring Book for my 3 year old daughter she loves water paint and everytime i bought she makes huge mess but i absolutely love the JoyCat Paint with Water Coloring Book and I am so happy I purchased it for my little one. This has quickly become one of our favorite activities at home. As a parent, I am always looking for something fun, creative, and educational and this book checks all the boxes. What I love most is how simple and mess-free it is. All you need is water, and the colors magically appear on the pages. There is a pencil inside the book ...the pencil (pen) holds There’s water and there are smaller paint boxes which is dry and when the pen (having brush) touch the dry paint it gets soak and then easily used for drawing ....so i can say no paint, no ink stains, and no cleanup stress, which is a huge win for me. My child can enjoy painting independently without me worrying about spills or ruined clothes. The Magical Pony theme is absolutely adorable. The pictures are cute, engaging, and perfect for young kids. My baby gets so excited watching the colors appear and loves pointing out different parts of the pictures. It keeps my daughter entertained for a long time.... The quality of the pages is great, and the water brush is easy for small hands to hold. It’s perfect for ages 3–5... It is such a great alternative to screen time and encourages creativity in a simple, fun way.
