Love these fenders, I put the on my Lund boat and they look great. I had purchased a different name brand and they would not stay secure and they moved all over the place. Look at the photo, mission is on the right side. The Mission fenders are of great quality and I’m purchasing two more this evening. A++

So easy to use and high quality

First of all, they're flat, not round, so that's good. I've never had luck with the round bumpers staying in place, but these flat ones will, so long as the boat is tight to the dock. However, when not docked, you need to pull these off, or they'll come loose and fly off, trust me, I know his first hand. That said, pulling them on and off all day is annoying, regardless of how easy it might be. Another complaint is the cheap mechanism that holds the straps to the bumper itself, if you pull even a little too hard on the straps, or at a slightly off angle, they split in two pieces. You can reattach them, but again, it's annoying. So, they work, but they come with issues. The round ones don't work, so this is the solution, albeit not a perfect one. Hope that helps.

On the pricey side, but they work as described, much more attractive than the standard inflatables. I wouldn't recommend getting the white as it only takes one dirty / rusty dock to ruin the finish forever.

The attachment points tend to pull out of the fenders when a launch alongside is delivering passengers. I have solved by simply inserting my own attachment lines that are more robustly installed so I will keep the fenders as i like their overall design.

I first saw this at a boat show I really wanted one. At that time there was a long lead time so I didn't buy one. The old white fenders I have on my boat don't stay in place very well. I was never a boy scout so I am not good at knots which makes adjusting those old fenders painful and slow. The strap system on the Sentrys is very easy to use, just push on the top when you get it in the right position and it locks in place. It seems to lock very well. We did a tie up with a lot of waves/boat movement and we had no problems with them coming loose. I did try to put them on a dock post and it seemed to hold well. Haven't tried it long term, but I like that option. I am excited to see how these hold up in the water and sun long term - the white tube fenders I have had in the past all turn black and gross. These look great so far. I do think these will protect the boat more than any other fender out there. I have them on my Mastercraft Inboard but I am going to buy them for my pontoon as well. I did have an issue a few years ago during a storm where my pontoon was damaged (and one side sank) as the sausage fenders flipped on top of the dock during the waves which allowed the pontoon to hit the dock poles and cut a hole in the pontoon. The shape of the sentrys will help keep them in place and prevent issues like that.
