I rarely leave reviews—only when I'm either extremely disappointed or truly impressed. And in this case, I’m beyond satisfied. This is hands down the best hair dye I’ve ever used, especially for someone with sensitive skin like me. I’ve spent years trying to find a dye that doesn’t cause irritation or burning. I used to rely on henna, but it was such a long and tedious process. This product felt like magic. Not only was there zero burning or itching, but I was honestly shocked at how gentle it was on my scalp. No redness, no stinging—just a smooth, comfortable experience from start to finish. Because I have fully gray hair, it did take two applications to achieve full coverage, but it was completely worth it. The second application gave me the rich, even color I was hoping for—and still, no reaction at all! The results were absolutely amazing. If you’ve struggled with sensitive skin or reactions to hair dye in the past, this is the one. I truly believe this product is a breakthrough, and I’m so grateful I found it.

I bought this product because I have a sensitive scalp and most of hair dye causes terrible itching. I used this product the first time in the gym and applied on myself and my scalp was not itching but coverage was not good. I thought I just didn’t do a good job. So it bought it again and asked my daughter to apply for me. She carefully applied the product on every inch of the base, but after the recommended time of raise. The color washed away immediately. So I would not use this product again since I did give a try twice.

The smell is a bit off putting but so worth it. I have a severe PPD allergy and was so scared to apply any hair dye to my hair. I’m glad I tried this one though! No allergic reaction and my hair looks great. Definitely buying again Update 4/7/26 I just purchased my 3rd box. The only thing is, I don’t recommend using the little comb that comes in the box because it pulled a bunch of my hair out. Other than that this stuff is amazing. (

I really like this hair dye it’s one of the few brands I can use because I’m very sensitive and have a lot of allergies. But even days later, my hair and scalp still smell unpleasant. I really wish they’d find a solution for that so I wouldn’t have to switch brands. It also dried out my hair more than I expected.

Most popular hair color products irritate my skin. The ones that my skin can tolerate do not color my facial hair at all. I have some strong skin and hair depigmentation due to a mild skin condition. Herb Speedy was the first that produced substantial results, albeit not perfect, but without irritation which is a win for me. The less than perfect bits: - My beard has noticeable tinge of purple in my beard, especially in the highly discolored parts. I might try the other colors to see if they balance it - Color doesn't last, it fades and washes off after about a week and a half tops. I'm trying to keep the #2 cream on for longer but can't tell that it helps all that much - It does take 20+ minutes to apply, which is longer than most other products I tried - It colors a lot during washing off, takes extra time to clean the shower, my hands and skin

This hair color is a 2 step process. It’s easy to apply step one as a thick liquid, but applying step 2 thick liquid is more difficult to apply because I have shoulder length hair, it’s hard to part and evenly apply. However, I like this product because I’m allergic to almost all hair coloring and I don’t want grey. I use Dark Brown which is almost black which is what I want. I’m glad this stuff exists and continues to be available. It covers my greys very well.

Product did not cause any irritation but I never got to use on my beard because as others have mentioned when I did a test on my arm the product is definitely not black but purple. Also ordered the dark brown color after reading reviews that stated it will turn your hair black. After applying this product not only did it turn purple but it also caused a skin reaction. This product should not be sold and after trying 2 different color I am assured this dye is ineffective and a waste of money. I threw both orders away. Do not waste your money

This product does work excellent if you follow this steps. 1. Put tube 1 in hair and use the comb that comes with it. Comb it in thoroughly to saturate the roots 2. You have to buy some throw away clear shower caps separately. After tube 1 is applied put on plastic cap to seal it in and leave it on for 30 minutes. 3. Repeat step 2 except use tube 2 *** it didn’t work for me until I used the clear shower caps and left it in for 30 minutes each tube I use it on my hair and beard because I’m allergic to Just for Men.
