9-inch Woodworking Adjustable Spokeshave Flat Base Plane Bench Planer Cutting Edge Spoke Shave Hand Tool for Woodcarver Carpenter

I was hesitant to buy this spoke shave because of the price. There are similar models on amazon that run $80! Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! I have used it on making 4 long bows and haven't had the slightest issue with it yet. I would certainly purchase this model again! I might even purchase the larger version for some bigger projects.

The blade is not the best steel. It arrived with an uneven edge (far from straight) and it’s been difficult to keep rust away after sharpening. Maybe I haven’t found the right way to use this tool. The price is good, but you get what you pay for

This is the first and only spokeshave I've ever owned, used, or even touched. It seems to work well, like the ones I've seen in videos, and it sharpens up nicely. I've used it a few times now and with good results

This is my first spoke shave, and it works just as I thought it would. The frame is strong and all of the thumb screws work and the blade is removable. The blade could be a little sharper but for a $10 tool its great. perfect for the hobbyist or the beginner woodworker.

Actual garbage. Item was received with several huge gouges on the blade and chips as deep as an eight of an inch. The mouth has large chunks of metal missing, the sole has large divets approximately an eighth inch deep making it completely unusable as is. The blade also has rust patches underneath the paint. I tried to be fair and do the work to make it usable after 3 hours of sanding after using the spokeshave on a pine leg the entire cutting edge broke off. Do not waste your money on this piece of junk.

I'd look for another item. cheap cast, brass hardware, actually didn't use it because It looks like it can do more harm than good

nice small spokeshave, came reasonably sharp but my usual sharpening and setup made it so much more enjoyable
