Wild Saskatoon Jelly, 5oz

I heard of these berries from Heartland and wanted to try them. I love berries. I found elderberry jam and I've had it before, it's good, but I was curious about the saskatoon berry and really wanted to try for myself. The is the best thing I've ever put on my toast! By far! I wish I could buy frozen berries to make a pie. But until then, I'm so grateful to have found this little jar! Thank you

I liked the flavor, sort of, it was mild and sweet. I guess I was expecting like an ('erry) flavor, like strawberry,blueberry, raspberry, or blackberry. It really didn't have much of a taste to me although it was sweet. Not much to talk about.

I was shocked at how small these jars were; but the product is tasty. I have 2 jars. Because of the nutritional benefits, I'd probably buy more when they are gone.

This is my second jar of Saskatoon Jelly. I first heard of it through the Canadian TV shoW Heartland and had to try it. It went so fast I needed another... It reminds me of a blueberry with a hint of grape. Love it

A nice jelly... but I would have liked it more flavorful. The jar didn't hold too much jelly, at all. One, family of 3, breakfast, and it's all gone.

Delicious! Remember that TV show Northern Exposure? In one episode, Shelley reminisced about Saskatoon Pie. Many years later, while vacationing in Banff, I tried to find some Saskatoon Pie. Didn't find any -- wrong season, but I did find Saskatoon Jelly. It was so good, I bought some extra jars from Amazon and shipped them to friends, and some more for myself too. This jelly tastes similar to blueberry or huckleberry, but different -- a more earthy flavor, with more substantial hulls. Delicious! Try some on toast with cream cheese. Now, if I could only find some pie...

Keep hearing about Saskatoon on Heartland. Tried it. No big deal.
