Foam Diffuser

Fairly cheap. I used these in front of my sound systems as a bass trap. And even though this isn’t a professional tool for testing the audio the flat line says enough. This with a few other products I managed to drop 12-18 decibels down my hallway and reduce the majority of bass within 20 feet. I plan to try some corner pieces as well. I love the styling and bought them specifically to catch at the angle I needed to catch audio at an angle due to difficult to place environment. I used them in my window and the sound barely leaks out and it helped insulate the window. Thickeness was as expected. A few had some curling but most brands do. I plan to buy a few more for higher angles of the room. I’m a fan of use the least panels possible. And strategically place them. If you do. Handle the thickness this might be ideal for you.

You get a whopping twelve of these things for only $35 bucks - that's a solid value. And because they have a diffuse pattern and are 3 inches thick, they help to both scatter and absorb sound waves. And when multiple panels are combined in a staggered way, they look very cool!Now, keep your expectations in check. These things won't absorb a ton of low-end bass, but they will do a solid job on frequencies above 1K. Even at frequencies below 1K, there is still some absorption, just much less.Overall, these panels have helped improve the sound in my home theater. I'm currently using them on my ceiling to mitigate any reflection points there. I've noticed my theater has slightly less reverb when listening to dialogue.In the end, getting really cool looking panels and some acoustic improvement for only $35 bucks is a win win in my book.

I bought these for a movie theater room I just completed. Let me start by saying they work. However I can’t get them to stay up on the wall. I went to the big box store and bought their only double back tape. They were to heavy I guess. Then in the description it shows a spray adhesive. I went back to the same box store. The was leaving with gorilla glue spray and read the label before I checked out and it says not for styrofoam. So I bought the other 3m brand. It barely works. So I found a very thin double back tape I had and it seems to hold for now.I would give it 5 star because it does work. Just can’t find a way to get them to stay up.Maybe if they included in the package something that they now works for the thicker foam.

Estaba preocupado por las reseñas que dicen que no se descomprimen o que se rompen... pero, en la noche, apenas abrí el paquete, escuche un leve sonido de descompresión... al sacarlos de la bolsa, se expandieron casi perfectamente en menos de un minuto... al otro día en la mañana, cerca de 8 horas después, todos están perfectos.Aún no los coloco en la pared o techo, por lo que no puedo dar una opinión al respecto, solo me aseguraré de comprar un buen pegamento o algo así.Algunos varían de color en grises, es decir, algunos vienen en tonos más oscuros que otros, pero no es algo para preocuparse, se ven realmente muy bonitos, mientras no lleguen a ser grises pálidos.Los recomiendo totalmente, se ven geniales.

Thick foam panels that can stand on their own and have square cut lines. These delivered upon all my expectations; No crimped edges and they hold their shape. Would recommend.

Even the stickiest of tape will not stick to the foam. The instructions say to use a tube of caulk-like construction adhesive. That won't work for me.In the trash they went.

They do what they should, good price.
