I got this Arm & Hammer dog oral care / tartar control spray to help with my pup’s dental hygiene (because he absolutely refuses a toothbrush). After a few weeks of use, here’s what I found: Very easy to apply — Just a few sprays into the mouth or onto the teeth, no fussing with paste or scrub. For a dog that fights me during brushing, this is a huge win. Noticeable fresh breath — Within minutes of application, my dog’s breath smells much better. It’s not minty strong, but pleasantly clean. Supports maintenance — When used regularly (especially between brushings), I see less surface buildup and less yellowing on front teeth. Gentle formula — The product advertises baking soda base and natural ingredients, and I’ve had no issues with gum irritation or sensitivity on my dog. Compact and portable — The spray bottle is easy to store, carry, or keep in a grooming kit. Cons: Short-lived effect — The fresh breath doesn’t last all day; after a few hours, the odor creeps back (especially after eating). Spray distribution — Sometimes the spray is a bit wide or hard to aim, so some liquid lands on gums or cheeks, not just the teeth. Dependence on consistency — You have to use it regularly for visible benefits; skipping days makes buildup reappear. Not a stand-alone solution — It doesn’t replace brushing or professional cleanings; it’s a helpful supplement. It really helps if you can hold the little jerk’s mouths open long enough to spray. We have a rescue dog that had breath that could kill an elephant. This spray, along with a diet change, made us able to cuddle her again without gasping for breath.

PROS: 1. We like the smell and flavor of this dog breath spray. It's minty, and it does help take the edge off of the bad breath our German Shepherd has. 2. We use a lot of Arm and Hammer products in our household and usually love them. CONS: 1. The effects aren't long-lasting. We sometimes have to use this several times each hour. 2. Have you ever tried to spray something into a dog's mouth? It's very difficult (and ineffective) at first. Our GS is very smart so he got the hang of it after a few weeks, but we still find it easier to open and pour into his water bowl.

It's a good product, smells good but our dog won't let me spray in her mouth. I'll have to figure something out.

Great for bad dog breath. He doesn't seem to mind the taste. Good value

not sure if it's working to remove plaque but my dog is ok with it and her breath doesn't smell as bad once I spray.
