COGAT Kindergarten Test Prep: Gifted and Talented Test Preparation Book - Two Practice Tests for Children in Kindergarten (Level 5/6)

This book was great for gifted. My child liked it and it helps before any testing.

This book is good practice for the Cogat. It has two practice tests, so there's lots of opportunity to practice. There are around 300 questions - divided evenly between the two tests. The book offers a good explanation of the different test sections and questions. Kids need at least an introduction to these types of questions before taking a test like this. My grandson never had any questions similar to this in his kindergarten class (at least none that I had ever seen). I definitely recommend this book!

The level of work is appropriate for the age group. Not too complex and not too easy. I wish the pages were serrated so could rip them out for practicing

My four years old she’s going kindergarten next year. I want to have to do this book. It’s very easy to understanding very nice book for kindergarten and preschoolers.

I have the yellow cover book (Gifted Games) and pages are in color as well as this blue cover book (Savant) which is black and white. They are very similar. Color is more eye catching and exciting for kids I'd say. But the content is both great. My son is very bright and I was curious just to see how he'd fare on things like this and he gets almost every question correct...but needed the explanation of what is expected, what are they asking, what is "the rule" in the pictures as the book explains. I kept skipping paper folding and then my husband explained it to ME while explaining it to my son and HE WAS GETTING THEM CORRECT IMMEDIATELY AND I WAS STILL TRYING TO MAKE THE MARKS ON MY PAPER!!haha So it prepares my child for what tests will look like at school, that he needs to read directions, understand what they are actually asking and it guides parents beautifully for this! Sets our kids up for success. I wish someone had done this for me when I was going to school!

It is a wonderful book for Kindergarten GT preparation. Kids love it and the problems are all great and at the right level! Strongly recommended!
