What kind of paint can I use on a Wet Palette?

A wet palette is designed to be used with water-soluble paints such as our water-based Warpaints Fanatic Acrylic paints. Water-based paints can dry relatively quickly, and the wet palette helps keep the paints moist and workable for longer.

Are the Hydro Sheets reusable?

The Hydro Sheet can be reused minimally. Cleaning and scrubbing risks fibres tearing which can result in paint bleeding through to the Hydro Foam and paper particles contaminating your paint. Change your Hydro Sheet regularly.

Is the seal airtight?

The Wargamers Edition Wet Palette is designed to be almost airtight to delay the drying process of your paint. The seal, however, is not entirely sealed which allows the paints to “breathe”

Is this replacing the original Wet Palette?

No, we will still produce and sell our original and bestselling Wet Palette. The Wargamers Edition Wet Palette simply offers another option for you to choose from that is larger with a unique Dipping Well insert for washes and Speedpaints.

How many times can I use the Hydro Foam?

Generally, if properly cared for, the Hydro Foam can last for quite a while and for many uses. Clean it with warm, soapy water and let it dry between uses. Do not wring out the foam as it can damage it.
