Publications on noble houses in Spain are very rare, and mainly on the Royal Palaces and the Medieval Castles. This is therefor a rare book, but apart of that a beautiful one. It shows all the houses still in possession of that old and famous family of the Dukes of Alba (Alva) Grandees of Spain since the late medieval times.Beautiful photographs it was one long pleasure to flick through it and read it more at ease at a later moment, because it is a book to treasure.

A fabulous book about a remarkable woman.Are there any more alive?! Do visit her houses if anyone has the opportunity.
