Dual Momentary Footswitch Plus for use with BeatBuddy, Effects Pedals, and Electronic Instruments

This is a fine match for a beat buddy.The on switch is not a foot on foot off switch.It stays on until you tap it 1 time again.This works just fine. The beat IS subject to your other effects pedals.Volume knob cranks UP. Makes your B.Bud. an effects pedal not just a Met. drome.

Does exactly what I need it to do, stop all sound when the button is pressed. All in all 200 for a decent drum machine in pedal form is not beyond what I wanted to spend.

nowhere in the manual or written description does it state that a TRS Cable is required for both buttons to work. Yes, a cable is supplied but it is less than one foot long and is useless if you want to have the Mini 2 at eye level and the footswitch on the floor. Apparently many people have not understood that a TRS cable is required judging by the number of questions in the support forums. Otherwise, the footswitch works well and does what is expected. Just remember to order a longer TRS cable when you order the switch.

The Singular Sound Foot Switch Works Fine with My Beat Buddy Mini 2 Drum Pedal. I haven't used it much since I've bought it, but so far, it does exactly what Singular Sound claims. Y'all be patient; it's a learning process, at least for me, but once you get the hang of it, it's nearly indispensable. The switches (and the lovely mushroom-shaped toppers make barefoot-playing a joy) are smooth and I don't hear a click sound in my signal, unlike some of my other pedals. The signal itself, for both pedals, is super-clean. I run it separately through a second channel to my amp. It seems sturdy enough; I'm not a gigger or a pro, so I can't say how well it might hold up under extended playing conditions. For the price, I'm very happy!

I've been using beatbuddy on a regular basis as I'm a gigging musician and my original pedal while it's still works very well I set aside for this one. The reason I did was I like how big the footswitch is it's easier to use the pedal with the bigger switches than the original one I received 4 + years ago The price was right so I could not complain so now my original pedal is my backup

Works well but be sure to use a TRS cord, not just a TS cord that is typically used between a guitar and an amp. Save yourself some time and order a TRS cord in the length you need, along with the pedal (the one they provide is less than a foot long). In the description, it does say "Flat TRS Cable included. (Note: A TRS Cable must be used for both switches to function, if you use a mono [TS] cable, only the left switch will send signal.)"

If you have a best buddy, having this really is necessary. I have mine set up to do tap tempo (so I don’t have to bend over and turn the knob) and extra accent and a start/stop button. It makes it a lot easier to navigate. It’s definitely worth it.
