The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + Hyaluronic Acid, Gentle Exfoliating Serum for Clarity and Hydration, 1 Fl Oz

This product works extremely well for my sensitive skin. It doesn’t burn, sting, or cause any irritation, and most importantly, it hasn’t triggered any breakouts. It leaves very little residue behind maybe a slight oily feel initially but it absorbs well and dries down nicely. Since incorporating it into my routine, I’ve noticed a reduction in the number of breakouts I get, and it has also helped fade some of the dark spots left behind by previous acne. The formula is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and feels great on the skin. Considering the affordable price, I think it’s an excellent product and offers great value for money. In fact, I’m already on my second bottle.

I’ve only used it twice so far, but the results are always showing. I have very sensitive/combination/acne prone skin and have struggled with blemishes/acne scars for over a decade. I use Kate Somerville’s sulfur cleanser, The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid, Azaleaic Acid and Dr. Althea’s 345 moisturizer and have noticed a VISIBLE reduction in my acne, dark spots and rosacea since incorporating mandelic acid. This is a dream product. I don’t mind the oily consistency, as this is my nightly routine and I just go to bed. I’ve woken up feeling extremely moisturized and with barely any redness on my face. I would definitely recommend

This has been a great introduction to mandelic acid for me. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I wanted an exfoliating acid that felt gentler than some of the stronger options I’ve used. The 10% mandelic acid gives me that exfoliation without feeling overly aggressive, and the added hyaluronic acid is a nice touch. The serum spreads easily, a little goes a long way, and it fits nicely into my nighttime routine. I experienced a little mild tingling when I first started using it, but nothing uncomfortable or alarming. So far, my skin has tolerated it really well. If you’re new to chemical exfoliation or simply want a gentler AHA option, this is definitely one I’d recommend starting slowly with.

this produce actually worked better than i expected. its a very gentle exfoliant over all 10/10 product it does take a few days to get results though

Gentle addition to my skincare routine! I really like how lightweight this serum feels on my skin. Mandelic acid is a great option when you want gentle exfoliation without using something too harsh. My skin feels smoother and looks more refreshed after incorporating it into my routine. A great product at an affordable price.

The only AHA that I can use on my face. It is very effective at what AHA does and very very affordable. It comes in a 30ml bottle but I only use it twice a week, 4 drops per use, it’ll last me a while. I especially love the oil base texture, very easy to spread on the face and very comfortable to wear. I’m not sure why some comments says it doesn’t dry, it’s not a last step product, just keep on with your skincare routine, no need to wait for it to dry. Compare to 2 other liquid gel based mandelic acid serums this one doesn’t give me the much hated sticky sensation and both other two burned my skin a little around my mouth after one use. This one is a lot gentler imo.

I absolutely love this product! It’s honestly one of my favorite products from The Ordinary. I can see a noticeable difference in my skin almost immediately after using it. It’s one of those skincare products where I feel like I can actually see the results, and I’ll definitely continue using it.
