Eti’s life story is of such difficult times mixed with rich moments of love and happiness. Very strong family bonds that carry her along the way. I did not know the Jewish Russian’s story. I learned a lot. I also discovered how strong we as Jews are and this story of a woman who worked and succeeded in making a big difference then and now . A powerful read.

Wonderfully written true story of a terrible era in history that is rarely talked about. The author has led a fascinating life from unspeakable oppression to triumph. Definitely a must-read.

Eti’s book is amazing. I am in awe of hers and her families strength at enduring their struggle and I celebrated in my heart when their dreams of coming to Israel were a reality. Eti took her past and, with such strength, she poured her passion towards helping others.

One of the most honest, touching accounts of life in the Soviet Union after the end of WWII and her family's journey to Israel. I highly recommend it!
