Elijah's Xtreme Trio Hottest Hot Sauce Gift Sets Includes Xtreme Regret Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce, Ghost Pepper Sauce & Sweet Reaper Hot Sauces

Great taste! Not very spicy but tastes good!

I have been a lover of hot spicy foods my entire life. Buffalo Wild Wings changing their Blazin' sauce and refusing to sell it by the bottle (or always being out of stock) led me here. First, let me talk about the Ghost Pepper one. Very flavorful, I would heap it on anything, chicken, onion rings. Not as hot as Blazin', but still a very good sauce. A somewhat smokey ghost pepper flavor. Definitely the most accessible of the sauces in this pack. I ran out of this one first. Next, the main event in my opinion is the "Extreme Regret" sauce, Carolina reaper based. It's very, very hot. Much hotter than blazin' in my opinion. You need just the smallest amount if you want to eat it straight, at least for my tongue. I also put it in salsa and it made the salsa pretty much instantly hot without messing with the flavor too much. Excellent for clearing your sinuses. Its flavor is very difficult to describe, but very tasty. Do not touch your eyes during or after eating. Wash your hands after eating it before touching any part of your face. The last one is my least favorite. The black cherry flavor is not my favorite at all, it is very overpowering, even overpowering the heat to my taste buds. Overall, 8/10. I would most likely buy the Regret and Ghost Pepper sauces in 3 packs next time. Two out of three sauces being good is great in my book.

In terms of Scoville Heat Units, the 3 sauces in this gift box are rated as follows (taken directly from the Elijah’s website): 1. Xtreme Regret (800,000 SHU) 2. Ghost Pepper Sauce (450,000 SHU) 3. Reaper Sauce (350,000 SHU) The Reaper Sauce has Blackberries and a splash of Kentucky Bourbon, and it’s very sweet. You have to use a lot to get any heat from it, as the Reaper’s in this are very subtle. It’s rated at 350,000 Scoville Heat Units, but I think it’s much tamer than that number suggests. The flavor doesn’t go well with everything, but for any rice/stir fry dish it’s a perfect addition. Flavor wise, the Ghost Pepper sauce is easily my favorite! It’s rated at 400,000 Scoville Heat Units, but I don’t feel it’s as hot as some other sauces I’ve had in that range. It packs plenty of flavor, and a decent amount of heat that’s not overpowering. This sauce really goes well on everything. It’ll clear up your sinuses! The Xtreme Regret certainly lives up to it’s name! The flavor is bold, and the heat is terrific and should please any extra hot fans. It’s rated at 800,000 Scoville Units, and I agree with this measurement. The heat lingers in your mouth for about 20 minutes after you’re done eating, so be aware of this going in. If you use a very small amount, you can minimize this duration to about 5-10 minutes of lingering heat. I’d definitely recommend starting with a small dab before you work your way up to a larger amount. Xtreme Regret is my go to for burritos, tacos, or anything that I want to add some heat to (like spicy black beans, refried beans, soups, chili’s, etc). The Ghost Pepper Sauce I’m finding myself using that on just about everything. I will definitely be purchasing the Xtreme Regret and the Ghost Pepper Sauce again! Thanks Elijah’s!

Right before dinner - my oldest son and I had to taste test all three. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Each had their own unique taste and "bite" to them. Nothing that was too over-powered (don't get me wrong....the Extreme is H O T) and it didn't over stay it's welcome. The sting tapered off nicely into a blend of peppery goodness that was accompanied by a damp forehead. I will certainly be buying these again. Father & Son crafted - Father & Son enjoyed.

The Carolina reaper one, the darker colored one is the one that I expected to be very hot. I had opened the box of with excitement that I had not had for hot sauce before, I am one person to talk about hot sauce with as I could go on and on about the collection of hot sauces I have, the Elijah's Xtreme sauce with the award winning 3 things is honestly packed with heat and flavor, You cant go wrong with this specific hot sauce, the unholy trinity is also packed with heat, has more flavor. To continue on about the disappointment in this trio of amazingness. In my own opinion I am seriously dissapointed by the heat it gives off, I had bought it because It said the carolina reaper was in it, and if anything I wanted it to be hot, so this is the reason I bought it. But it's still not bad, It has a very sweet tangy taste to it. Still it came close to being the star of the show if not for the elijas extreme. I would recommend this hot sauce as everything is amazing, the carolina reaper sauce is just not as hot as one would think it is. I will be buying this in the future once I run out of these specific bottles again. Compared to other hot sauces I would definitely get this one, but I love all hot sauces.
