Can you let me know another Tania scales made in Japan than I can compare?

@The Competitive Edge Tanita HD-662 also says made in japan. Did this only become available after your answer? Is there a difference in the "quality" (repeatability) of the weighing between Tanita HD-662 and Tanita Tanita HD-351 (leaving aside difference in maximum weight capacity, memory and multiple users)?

Is it really made in Japan ??

Google it. Tanita's product page says "Made In Japan" really huge on the product page for the HD-351 and WB-800S.

Can i store this scale upright without it needing recalibrated every time?

It should not be stored upright.
