All you need to know about knitting is in this book.
I should have gotten this book years ago. Everything you need to know when you knit and all in a lovely looking book with great photos and clear explanations. It is interesting that when you take a class or someone teaches you to knit, that there are no books to help you or a book to go to, until you come across this book. I like to learn from books as well as videos or someone showing me. Right now, I can knit and know the techniques, but sometimes you pick up bad habits or just forget. This book is a resource at hand. And I want to embroider some of my knitting. This book as embroidering techniques too. You get the history of knitting and techniques for beginner to experienced knitter. From casting on, picking up dropped stitches to blocking your knitting, everything is in this book.

Difficult to understand
I found it of no use. Difficulty to understand from the images. I think for this art, a video will be more useful as compared to the books where you can see only 2D images as shown in this book.
