Excellent product!!!!! Well made high quality tether. The seatbelt end hooks directly into the female end of the seatbelt mechanism and firmly but gently holds my big girl safely in place. The end with the carabiner attaches to her harness at the "D" on the back of the harness. (I also have the Kurgo Harness, which is fantastic and very easy to adjust. I have a 45lb., 6 month old, Golden Retriever pup who is strong as an ox. It is easy to put on her. She doesn't seem to even notice it. She sits up on the seat looking out the window of my Smart Car. We do get a lot of funny looks......two blondes in a funky looking little car....oh well. I have several other Kurgo products and have to say, they are all equally, well made products, and it seems that they work together and have interchangeable parts for different uses. Easy peasy!! I will most certainly purchase more from this company.

This seat belt tether attachment works exactly as one would hope. It buckles into the seat belt attachment, and while keeping my dog secure in the backseat should a collision occur, allows her to stand, sit, lie down, turn around and shift position. In case of an accident, both my human and canine passengers will have protection. This also ensures that should a dog engage a window control (sometimes the child safety control on driver side is inadvertently disengaged), they will not be at risk of falling out of the window at speed. I had another model for years, and far prefer the ease of this model, the sturdiness, and the excellent quality of the stitching.

Great quality and a great price for peace of mind that my dog is a little safer while in the car! The adjustable strap is perfect for making sure he has enough room to move while still staying safely belted to the seat. Securely fits into the seatbelt clip.

To me this is a must for car rides. I also tie the leash to the door handle just in case. I watch other people let their dogs run around the back of the car, side to side, and well, if my dog was in a car accident, I would rather they have the seat belt holder than to fly through the vehicle! This safety leash is heavy quality, though it is a little hard to unclip at the collar. Probably because I am trying to avoid my dogs' breath though. I like this item and knowing she is secure in the seat, it eases my mind if we were ever in an accident, I think it would help her.

I am not using this as a seatbelt attached to the dog, but to the crate, soft or hard, to the handle or if it has secure straps. I can put this on the handle or an extra collar attached to the handle of the crate. This is much safer and secure. I used to use a collar through the crate handle and put around an attached seat belt, but you are at the mercy of the seat belt mechanism to tighten up. It is not always sudden stops, but avoiding a car that is not following the road rules, but hard swerve to avoid an accident too. If you don't trust your handle, you could always make something that will go around the crate to attach the tether too. The carabiner is heavy, might injure a small dog. Please do not attach any type of tether to a collar, in an accident, hard swerve, or fast stop could choke a pet. Always use a harness specially made for car safety. Please don't have it so the pet can run back and forth or to put head out of window. Keep it short enough for the dog to stand, sit and lay down. Otherwise it is not doing what it is supposed to do and could cause injury. Please disconnect the air bag, if available to do so, in the front seat, otherwise put the pet in the back seat. I have the small size for my needs.

Bought for puppy! Works great but had to also buy a cover so he would stop unhooking himself!!!

Strong, durable, and easy to use. An affordable way to protect your pet on car rides or to keep pets from climbing all over the place. The only flaw, which isn't really a flaw of the product but rather how it has to be used, is that the clip can pop out if your dog steps on the car buckle. So be careful when unloading pets if you hear the car buckle click while driving.

une ceinture de sécurité simple mais robuste,elle se clipse facilement côté chien grâce au mosqueton costaud mais aussi côté ceinture c'est de très bonnes manufacture,par contre pour un chien de 45 kg aimant mettre la tête à la fenêtre un peu mais avec une laisse courte rajouté ou bien la laisse du kit zepline c'est parfait.

Great addition to the dog harness we have for the car gives extra length for our dog when on the back seat to fully stretch out on her journeys makes for a more comfortable ride in the car plus it's secure you know a dog is not going anywhere. You can change the length of the seat belt very easy to do. Made of tough material and if gets dirty just wash it I have in the sink hand wash only you don't want that clanking around in your washing machine.

Sturdy construction. I'm not using anything else now. I tried a cheaper one but then my 35kg dog snapped the chip off when I used it for a backup lead... shocking to think what could have happened in a car accident.

Tengo un año o más con el producto y a funcionado bastante bien, engancha el arnés de mi perro al cinturón de seguridad perfectamente y sin problemas, muy cómodo para llevarlo de viaje a todos lados en el auto.
