I fitted to my Skoda Fabia but the cable is wrong way round so doesn't work anyone else had same problem?

There's usually enough slack on the loom in the car to just turn the connector around to match the connector on the pump. That was the case with my Golf v7.

Will this replace my 14 plate VW caddy maxi screen washer pump
