How do you fix it to the wall??

All you need is some double sided tape. These pads are normally supplied with the item. Stick one side to the back of the item. Peel off the other side of the tape. Position item behind radiator & press against the wall. Job done.

Hi thanks for your question. I’m so sorry I moved house and left it for the new owners I cannot remember the size but I remember I had to cut some of it as it was a good size not too small for a standard radiator. Hope you can get the answer from another purchaser. Take care, best wishes.

Does this actually help with keeping the heating in the room when used behind radiators?

Hello great question but I cannot answer this scientifically, I use them because the roads in my front room are not under windows and I thought the reflective foil may help. I am willing to try anything and I like them. The tape doesn’t last very long due to the heat but other than that I’m happy with the product.

do I have to take the radiator off the wall first?

No just place it behind the radiator and press on the sticky tabs. I actually put mine on the outside wall next to my bed. Stops the cold getting to my bed.
