Great product, easy to swallow capsules, am taking this in conjunction with Krill Oil capsules to lower my cholesterol numbers and it is effective.

I usually don’t write reviews on Amazon. But the supplement/s helped where doctors could not, so I had to share my story. I took 12 mg of astaxanthin for six weeks and my sciatica nerve pain is gone. Pain free now for over a month. I have had nerve pain so bad that I could barely stand for 5 minutes. After taking two 200 mg of Advils, I could barely walk 1/2 mile - I had to sit down after 1/2 mile to relieve pain. Now I can walk 3 plus miles with no pain and without any medication. I am 77 years old, so I didn’t want to push it. I suffered the sciatica nerve pain for 14 months. Medications, physical therapy etc. only helped temporarily. To be totally honest, I also stated taking vitamin B complex and magnesium 4 weeks after starting Astaxanthin and the pain began to subside right after that. So I am not totally sure that it was astaxanthin alone that helped with sciatica. It could be the B complex, magnesium or the combination of supplements. Also, I do have a lot more energy now and I don’t get tired easily. My pain is 100% gone. The sciatica pain was so bad and persistent that I scheduled an appointment with a spine surgeon thinking I may have to get the surgery done. Once pain was relieved, I cancelled the doctor’s appointment. I am continuing with the astaxanthin, magnesium and B complex now. B complex is way over the recommended dose so I only take it on alternate days now. If it helps you with sciatica, please write a review. Thanks.

Excellent for first thing in morning...45 min before bfast and caffeine

I ordered this particular product as it appeared to be the best value at only $23.95 at the time of order. It is now priced at $29.95 which is still good value. I also noted that only one softgel needs to be taken daily which suits me perfectly. This is the first time that I am trying Astaxanthin. The softgels are a dark color and easy to swallow. I have been taking this for around 10 days and I have had no problems or side effects. I will update this review once I have taken this supplement for 3 months which is a fair amount of time to expect results. UPDATE: I have now almost finished this bottle. I stopped taking a well known supplement for my knees, as I have gotten older my right knee is a little weak, that supplement worked great but I wanted to see if I could take astaxanthin instead. My knee has been fine, I have had the odd day where my knee was weak but generally I think this has worked. I also have a couple of floaters in my left eye. Over time while taking these softgels I have noticed that the floaters are less noticeable. I haven't seen any real improvement to my eye sight. With regards to brain health, cognitive function, skin etc. I haven't noticed any difference. Overall I do feel that this supplement is okay and it has kept my knee stable but I may look for another brand to see if I can find something that is little more effective.

I have Sjögrens diease this is the only thing that make my mouth wet again. I no longer have dry eyes, dry nose dry mouth after taking these..they have literally changed my life. I have tried another brand and it didnt work but these do. So I came back and bought more. I was always getting thrush in my mouth cause it was so dry. Not anymore! My Dr said many are having a lot of success with Astaxanthin for Sjögren's. So why dont they tell us about it? I suffered for 2 years needlessly. I love this Astaxanthin!! Its darker than the others ive tried. Cant say enough good things about it. Ive been sharing my success story all over FB. So if nutricost has an upswing in sells. Yep thats from me!! Lol

So far it seems to be helping, no ill effects. Quality product and cost effective!

Haber esto está interesante le pongo 5 estrellas porque se supone que es un súper producto y está a súper buen precio pero yo me siento igual que cuando no lo tomaba, es decir quizá si sirva quizá o quizá sea lo mismo que comprar unos buenos chicles, creo que se complica calificar este tipo de productos pero según eso muy bueno 🤷🏽‍♂️
