These coffee maker cleaning tablets from ACTIVE work really well and feel like a quality product. The tablets are individually wrapped, easy to use, and the instructions are clear for both single-serve and multi-cup machines. it’s reassuring to know they’re designed to descale, deodorise, and refresh. A box of 24 is excellent value. I also liked the packaging and the small handwritten note included — a nice personal touch. Overall, an effective, well-presented product that does exactly what it promises and is easy and quick to fit into regular coffee machine maintenance.

Used a few times now, clears the descale light on the Nespresso machine. Doesn’t impact taste and machine still works. Not sure how I know if it’s doing the job as presumably running the descale process clears the error light and I could just run the descale program with water. I’m sure someone more boring will respond saying how it all works.

Wanted to wait until i used the product before i reviewed them and got a lovely surprise when i opened the pack :) i have a Tassimo single cup machine and these work perfectly they dissolve quickly and are easy to use. I will definitely be ordering them again when i run out and it's 15 quid for a years supply if you use 2, 2 years if you use one on a single cup machine but for the price and wanting to give this company business i will be using 2 per :)

These work really well. Our coffee machine (traditional style with steam wand) had limescaled up (we live in a very hard water area) and the steam wand had stopped working. I tried everything but nothing would clear it. A clean program with these immediately sorted it. Lovely big box and I've already started using them often (they suggest fortnightly but monthly is better suited for me as we dont use the machine more than once a day). No aftertaste once rinsed through.

I recently put the Active Coffee Machine Cleaner & Descaler Tablets through their paces in my De’Longhi bean-to-cup machine, and I’m pleased to report they did exactly what any good descaler should do — quietly, efficiently, and without drama. The tablets dissolved cleanly, the descaling process ran smoothly, and the machine emerged limescale-free and feeling rather smug about itself. No strange residues, no lingering chemical aftertaste, no sense that I’d accidentally pressure-washed the soul out of my coffee maker. Most importantly, once the process was complete, my coffee tasted like… coffee. Not citrus, not chemistry, not “industrial cleanliness with notes of regret” — just proper, familiar coffee. Which, when you think about it, is the highest compliment you can pay a cleaning product. Impressive, quick, strong, easy to use, effective, and refreshingly uneventful. These tablets do their job well, then politely step aside and let the coffee take centre stage. Exactly as it should be.

These descaler tablets work GREAT. They're easy to use and do an excellent job removing buildup from my coffee machine, helping it run like new again. After cleaning, I noticed my coffee tasted BETTER, and I feel better knowing the machine is clean inside. I now use them regularly as part of my maintenance routine. A simple product that works exactly as advertised and is an EXCELLENT VALUE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

These are great and so easy to use. A lot less hassle that vinegar cleaning etc. Great buy.

I have a Nespresso VertuoPlus (which is an old discontinued model) and I have tried the Nespresso Descaling Kit, but even after rinsing three times my machine claims it needs to be descaled. If anybody owns a Nespresso, just know that after a certain amount of uses when the descale-needed sign is present - the machine can stop working at any moment and won't work unless it has been descaled. I believed because I waited for so long, that why the kit could not 'clean' all of the debris. So after seeing the reviews for this product, I bought it to try it out. After descaling and rinsing twice - the machine is finally descaled. It was so easy and efficient! Since the tablets are compact and dense - it took two minutes for the tablet to dissolved in the reservoir but I still ran it and there was no problems. Then I have the Hamilton-Beach Single Cup/Pod FlexBrew which has the water reservoir attached to the back of the machine and only water can be poured from the top through a gated chamber. So I had to set aside a large glass of water and let the tablet in it, and then pour it through the reservoir. Which worked just as well. Great Product!

Very easy to use, and it works great. I purchased for my Ninja coffee pot at home as well as the Kuerig at the office. Both were very clean after use. No after taste or residue. Would definitely buy again and recommend.
