This had pretty good suction for a rubber plastic hook of this size and the price. To be fair I haven't hung anything heavy on it. Most other sucky plastic hooks I've had which are twice the size of this fall of within seconds, however this little thing was perfectly fit for my purpose.I wanted to hang a slimline calender on one of my kitchen cupboards. After pressing firmly on the cupboard, I was able to successfully hang my thin calender and it hasn't fallen off at all. I don't know what it's like to hang anything else from, but if you had a lightweight calendar, this certainly does the job.
