Kissho Paint for Japanese Painting Horn Face Aya Ayami Ink 20 Colors

These lovely muted, inky, moody colors speak to me. I hope they come down in price in the future. Meanwhile, I will enjoy them. I agree with some of the other reviewers that maybe a yellow could be added and some of the colors are similar but I'm still happy with this purchase.

Lovely muted shades of pinkish-reds, greens, blues, tan-brown, and a purple. Go on sheer and blend well. These are understated tones - not bright colors. Will be gorgeous for use in landscape or urban watercolor paintings. I love the unusual colors - so unlike the standard. Sheer, not chalky, and stand out on their own due to the beautiful colors. No granulation. Highly recommend as a beautiful addition to any artist's watercolor collection. No disappointment here!

Great options for colors

Very high quality paints especially for the price point. Compared to its competitor, this has deeper shades and they are just gorgeous.

I have been trying to order these for weeks Amazon would not deliver to my area. I still wouldn’t give up so I continue to search for a seller that I could order from. Luck was on my side and I was able to order the paints I have been dreaming about. Beautiful colors Japan never disappoints. I wish I could order more items from Japan. I love how they put quality first and don’t cut corners. I’m still puzzled as to why Amazon would not deliver this item from Amazon in Japan. The extra cost is worth it for high quality products.

I love these watercolor paints. They are unique from other more mainstream paints, but they are beautiful, and the colors are interesting and fun to work with.

Wow! These are nice rich colors. I love Karetake paint, that's why I ordered these. I've the rich earthyness of these colors. Also I received them a week earlier than promised. Thank you so much! I'm diving into the colors now. I've already swatched them. Just Gorgeous!

These are a lovely inky selection of coloured water soluble paints. They behave like watercolour yet I know they are primarily ink made with Japanese recipe of pigment and ink. They activate easily and make beautiful textured effects. I bought it as a gift for someone else but couldn’t resist them for myself. I will probably have to order another set.

写真で想像していたよりも、顔彩よりちょっと小さいかなと思いました。 顔彩と違って出す色が同じような色が出ないのがちょっと難点かな。水墨画やる人なら別として、顔彩だけやっていた方には描く絵も絵手紙と違う物になってちょっと難しいかなとも思います。でも、この色で描けるモチーフを増やそうと思います。
