Tasty & convenient
These are tasty and convenient. A lot of people say they are expensive but so is fast food these days. These are just a healthier option to have around when you don't have time or feel like making something.

Delicious but a little high priced
These tamales are delicious. Only bought once because I think they're a little too expensive for the amount. Great for the cargo pocket on a hike or glove box on a drive or eat along with some rice.

Taste is fine, but they aren't fluffy enough
These aren't quite poofy enough. The masa can stand to be mixed longer to add air into it so it'll get fluffy when steamed. The filling is fine. The spicy one is spicy enough.

Authentic and great flavor
These are authentic and great flavor. But make sure you can take the heat! Like I said they are authentic.

Very Okay
These are ok. Flavor is decent. They take a bit longer to heat than the package says. Even the spiciest among them is pretty mild. good for an emergency on-the-go food, but not something I'd eat to enjoy.

The walking trip snack
Great idea. Also cures a simple munchie crave. Each bite give authentic tamale flavor. Healthy also.

Do not buy without reading first!!!!
I bought the variety pack $28 for 7 making them $4 a piece. This was pretty expensive for tamales but because they were vegan I wanted to give them a try. I was expecting bean filled tamales but was not what I received. The overall flavor and texture was good but I was very disappointed when each “tamale” only had about 3-5 beans. I paid $4 a “tamale” to get a small portion of boil cornmeal with a few beans and some sauce. A normal tamale is $2 each and is much bigger with actual filling. I will never purchase again because I felt fooled into buying it. It’s a good snack but I would have appreciated some honesty from the company of what we were really getting. If you want a quick snack that is a little spicy with a good texture, this is for you! But if you are expecting a vegan tamale, don’t waste your money cause it’s not good enough to make up for your disappointment for not getting what you’re expecting.

Great for backpacking/ hiking
I love these for backpacking. I get such of the same lunch for backpacking so this is nice. They are even better warmed up when not backpacking
