WHen we got a log burner my wife was moaning that the brand new carpet would get destroyed. I assured her that this was not the case and that i would protect her beloved new carpet from the rath of spitting log burnersShe neednt have worried.The little fire mat as i call it, works. and works well. it has had some embers fall onto it and it has not even marked. perfect to protect the limestone hearth from sparks and bits of wood falling out of log burner when door opened. Thought it would be too big but can easily fold in half and make it fit the opening. Really happy with this

The mat did protect the floor but it's started to wear out there's patches of holes on it. It's not walked on just hovered now and again. It's not cheap so I expected it to last longer then 3 months. :(

This is a good item and has saved my carpet a few times from bit of hot coals. Just wish it was bigger in size

Perfect, sparks and a little lighted wood have blow out of the fire onto but no burns marks and not gone through to the carpet, a ittle expensive but far cheaper than a new carpet or other flooring

After a few months the mat has lost its protective material and is peeling apart!

Pierwszy dywanik zakupiony w maju 2022 był rewelacyjny jakościowo, dlatego zakupiłam go ponownie w marcu 2024 - niestety jakość fatalna, cieńszy, wygina się na rogach. Niestety nie polecam :-(

Si tienes el suelo de madera o laminado o algo que no sea cerámico, tienes que poner algo de esto, porque la mayoría de las veces cae algún ascua o varias y la verdad es que está alfombra cumple perfectamente su función. Yo cogí la de metro de largo por 75 de ancho y tengo media metida debajo de la estufa, que así también aísla del suelo y luego por la parte delantera sale la otra mitad de la alfombra. Aguanta bien las ascuas, no se quema y con un trapo húmedo se limpia bastante bien.

Lo abbiamo preso da mettere davanti al camino, per proteggere il parquet. E' stato subito testato perchè sono volati degli schizzi alla prima accensione del camino e ha riparato il parquet da ogni danno. N.B. va poggiato con il silicone verso l'alto. Assolutamente consigliato!
