What minerals and vitamins it supplies

No idea - but when I use it combined with micronised linseed, it makes a huge difference - takes about 6 weeks. He will also eat it as a treat!!

Whats the sugar content?

Equivite Original contains 26% sugar. Although this may seem high, it's important to remember that due to the low feeding, it will contribute a negligible level of sugar to the total diet. The recommended daily serving of Equivite Original for a 500kg consuming less than 2kg of compound feed per day will contain just 26g of sugar. To help put this into perspective, 1kg of grass may contain up to 150g of simple sugars (dry matter) and a 500kg horse may consume 15kg (dry matter) of grass (or more!) per day.

Brought to replace nutrients lost in soaking hay for my laminitis girl. My little Shetland has it as well, seems palatable as they scoff it down mixed in happy hoof and I have noticed my Shetland has lost her winter coat sooner than usual, no idea if it's related to this. Lami pony has made a great recovery and her coat seems so shiny and she's bouncy and happy. Stuff comes as a powder and has a scoop with it. Looks like powered cement but mixes well. So far it's a thumbs up.
