Not only did my kids love them, but I do as well. They are very detailed for what you were paying for and they are awesome.

Great for imaginative play…. Also used some of the people to create a fairy garden section in my front yard.

For my goals -- a large number (roughly 200) medieval soldiers in different colors of plastic -- which I use unpainted for different armies -- at a very reasonable price, this was almost perfect. It gave me 4 groups of 50 soldiers in blue, white, black and gold at roughly 1/72 scale -- slightly larger than the old 20 mm Airfix soldiers but slightly smaller than more recent ones which run up to 28 mm. The plastic they were made of was more brittle than some, but if used with care (probably better by adults) they should last. They were not on sprue and did not require cutting out. A perfectionist might note a few figures had small holes in their chests, apparently from imperfect casting. I only regret that there were only 8 mounted figures, all roughly 54 mm scale, half black and half silver. These are compatible with similar black and silver mounted soldiers in that scale available elsewhere. My only serious disappointment was that the large, fortified gate was only made of thin cardboard, though there were two very good plastic roughly 1/72 scale two-story towers, with flagged floors, flagged turrets, and open arches permitting soldiers to be placed inside. There were also two tall vaguely Gothic ruins (the only items on sprue) and two walls (assembled from several pieces). In addition, there were several dark plastic rockpiles, almost the height of the 1/72 scale soldiers, and two light grey piles, apparently intended to hold two small green plants. Overall, considering that I usually expect to pay $18 -20 dollars for one roughly 50-piece set of 1/72 figures, or nearly as much for one fort or ruin without figures, I think this is a great bargain.

My boys love this set, but the walls are very easy to come undone which makes it annoying to play with. We constantly have to put the walls of the castle back together. My kids are 5 and 4 and play a little rough, so we prefer the structure to be a little more sturdy. It’s still a fun toy.

The stability of this tower was adequate. It doesn't easily fall down once it is all together, but to get it together it is wobbly. Worth it though, my 4 and 6 year old love it.

There’s A LOT of pieces with this item but the kids have loved it. Very small pieces so not ideal for small toddlers.

This was a surprise gift for my kiddos. After they opened all their christmas presents and thought that was all, suddenly come a gift of fun old school fun toy that helps develop their imagination. no assembly was required and very easy to play. all you have to do is want to have fun. It's very well done and the size is perfect for small hands. Neutral colors help give it that old school vibe. Made of hard molded plastic, they are built to last.

A bunch of these guys came without arms, heads or literally just legs... so I'm not sure what happened there. And on the package it shows that there's some artillery included, like midevil balista and such and not one is included. Couple days in my son keeps bringing me guys to melt back together because their legs are falling off just trying to stand them up. So, over all, don't buy these guys.
