Although this book is designed to be used with the Revision Guide, it is perfectly fine to use this on its own. The workbook includes questions on Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and contains answers in the middle of the book, which can be pulled out.This is a useful workbook to highlight any issues that your child may have, so you know where you may need to revise. The questions are not necessarily in the format of the actual SATS tests - for example, although there is lots of practice in spelling, the actual spelling test in the exam consists of words read within the context of a sentence. So I would suggest using the workbook and then trying out some past papers, so your child is familiar with the way the test will look. Overall, though, a good, clearly laid out workbook, which covers the important aspects of the work covered in the KS2 SPAG tests.

A fantastic resources filled with a range of questions to support pupils' understanding of the new Curriculum. Would thoroughly recommend all of these books!
