MONOHERB Riboflavin 5'-Phosphate 50 mg - 120 Vegetarian Capsules - Bioactive Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2, also called riboflavin, is one of 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body to convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B-complex vitamins, also help the body metabolize fats and protein. B complex vitamins are necessary for a healthy liver, skin, hair, and eyes. They also help the nervous system function properly. All B vitamins are water soluble, meaning the body does not store them. Antioxidants, such as riboflavin, can fight free radicals and may reduce or help prevent some of the damage they cause. Riboflavin is also needed to help the body change vitamin B6 and folate into forms it can use. It is also important for growth and red blood cell production. In addition to producing energy for the body, riboflavin works as an antioxidant, fighting damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. Free radicals can damage cells and DNA, and may contribute to the aging process, as well as the development of a number of health conditions, such as heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants, such as riboflavin, can fight free radicals and may reduce or help prevent some of the damage they cause. This is a great formula of 50 mg of riboflavin with 120 servings although it is pricey at $20 given that this supplement is produced in China, not in the US or UK. It does state it is manufactured at Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility. GPM is a system for ensuring that pharmaceutical products are consistently produced and controlled according to high quality standards.

Is NOT comparable to what I was previously ordering.

Normally when I see vitamins that say "vegetarian-friendly," I worry it may taste a bit like dirt, since some have a really earthy-flavour. These thankfully don't. I think they taste pretty good. I always take em w water to make sure swallowing is easier, and I def recommend it. Overall really solid, and a great way to keep the nervous system in check without having to track what foods you eat.

High quality, easy to swallow and has great flavor. One hundred twenty capsules are provided in bottle, a good value for money.

These vegetarian capsules provide a bioactive form of Vitamin B2, which has been great for my overall health and energy levels. The 120-capsule bottle offers a good supply for continuous supplementation. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to boost their Vitamin B2 intake effectively.

PROS 1 capsule taken in the morning with breakfast I like that it utilizes Flax seed I seem to have more energy I seem to have good mental clarity I like that these are vegetarian capsules 120 capsules = to a 4 month supply CONS Manufactured for a Uk company, made in China was only area of concern, however seems to be a quality product.

The capsules are easy to swallow, which is the first hurdle for any supplement. Flax seed is recognized as an important source of vitamins, for humans and for animals. My animal feed includes flax seed, especially in the winter months. This looks like a winner!

This is my first time using R-5-P. This form worked for me as it provides lucid alertness and clarity of mind. This active form of B2 is way better than the regular B2. I will be using this one from now on. Highly recommended!
