Excellent pencil sharpener with 3 settings. Ideal for keeping long sharp points for detail drawing and much easier than using a knife to sharpen. Mid setting excellent for colour pencils.

The sharpener is very good. Unfortunately the item arrived later than scheduled which I do not hold the company responsible.

There’s not a huge amount I can say about a sharpener other than it’s nice being able to choose the point size and I’ve not had any breakages whatsoever. I use this for coloured pencils mainly so it gets a lot of use. It’s a nice solid weight and the included pouch is a really nice touch. Highly recommended.

Does not behave in the way the last one did and my husband is very disappointed. An expensive article - it used to come with a spare blade and give a long, sharp point. This gives a much shorter point. Mybe should have bought a different type. Fine if you want to sharpen crayons but an expensive way to do it....

Nothing special about this sharpener. Works ok but only just.

I own several DUX sharpeners, and have grown to love them for their german precision craftsmanship. Imagine then, my disappointment at receiving their 'flag-ship' sharpener with two major design flaws. 1) the number '2' is off-centre on the dial, meaning the bottom part of it is not on the dial; 2) the 'click' that happens when you turn the doesn't didn't happen, when turning to the number '3' position, unlike the other positions. Considering this is meant to be the premier sharpener of DUX (complete with leather case), I find the finish poor and have just applied for a refund. Will look to order another one that is hopefully up to standard.

It worked very fine for a few days, now I can't even sharpen any pencil. It just rotates in it.

Endlich habe ich einen richtig guten Spitzer gefunden. Der Preis war erst einmal abschreckend. Doch die Qualität ist wirklich hervorragend. Das Messer ist sehr haltbar und spitzt den Stift sehr sauber. Die unterschiedlichen Einstellungen funktionieren auch sehr gut.In der Schule brechen die Spitzen der Buntstifte die mit herkömlichen Spitzern angespitzt werden oft sofort wieder ab. Bei diesem Spitzer nicht. Hier bleiben selbst die Spitzen von Billigstiften intackt. Dieser Spitzer ist auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert. Als gewohnter reger Bleistiftnutzer werde ich mir noch einen zweiten Spitzer dieser Art für zu hause zulegen. Fazit: Sich nicht vom Preis abschrecken lassen. Während man die meisten herkömlichen Spitzer nach spätestens etwa einem Jahr wechseln muß bleibt ihnen dieser Spitzer bis zur Rente treu. Damit haben wir auch noch als Nebeneffekt Abfallvermeidung. Auch Bunt und Bleistifte unterer Preiskategorien werden sauber und haltbar angespitzt

Avevo già posseduto questo tipo di tempera matite, fin quando mi è stato, ahimè, rubato. Fino a quel momento mai avuto un problema. Un oggeto splendido. L'ho quindi ricomprato ma, purtroppo, mi è arrivato un esemplare difettoso: semplicemente non tempera. L'ho restituito ma ho dovuto pagare la spedizione. In attesa del rimborso.
