Honey smelling beeswax
The 10 lb bag I ordered came in and before I even opened the package I could smell the honey hitting me. The moment I touched the pellets, they were soft and pliable to the touch, like genuine beeswax or quality filtered paraffin wax would be. I know this is real beeswax from the way it reacts to warmth and its stickiness and tendency to form clumps in warm spots, and I'm excited to use it right away.

Perfect beeswax!
The beeswax pellets were exactly what I needed. I am making wax cloths for bread wrapping, and I wanted a food safe wax that I could use. I love the sustainability of using pure beeswax, once the cloths are worn out, I can use them as fire starters in our wood stove. I also loved the way the product came packaged. Good quality, good product.

Not Pure Beeswax — Misleading Product
I purchased this product expecting pure beeswax, but after testing and inspection, I believe it's either heavily adulterated or not beeswax at all. Here's why I'm returning it: No beeswax scent: Pure beeswax has a distinct, pleasant honey-like aroma. This had no scent whatsoever — closer to odorless paraffin. Hard and brittle: Instead of being pliable or softening with warmth (as real beeswax should), it remained stiff and cracked when I tried to bend it. Color appears artificial: The bright yellow seemed unnatural, possibly dyed. Real beeswax comes in various shades, but it usually appears more natural and varied. Flame test failed: I attempted to burn a small piece. Instead of a clean flame and honey smell, it gave off a faint chemical odor and some smoke — classic signs of paraffin or synthetic additives. Unclear sourcing: The packaging indicates "Made in China," but provides no details on purity, filtration, or whether the product is cosmetic or food grade. That's a red flag for quality, especially with beeswax, which is often cut with fillers in cheaper markets. This wax is not suitable for crafts, balms, or candles where purity is a concern. I can't recommend this product and am requesting a return.

Good quality and easy to use
So I am a chef and during the pandemic I was out of work, so I started doing some private events. I decided that I could make my own cutting boards for the events and started researching the best conditioners for the boards. Then I decided to make my own using a combination of Mineral Oil and Beeswax. Originally I was getting beeswax in bricks that kind of looked like gold bricks and I was chopping them up myself. Once I found out I could get these pellets, it changed the game completely. It makes it so much easier when the beeswax is in smaller pieces and these are so much smaller than I ever chopped them. Since I had all this beeswax, I decided to make some candles and then I figured I could also make some of those reusable food wraps. I keep finding ways to use more beeswax. This wax just smells really good, so I really like messing around with new beeswax projects. This is also such a good price for the amount and quality, I don't stress out too much about using it.

Good for the price!
I am not a beeswax expert but this wax doesn’t feel like beeswax. It doesn’t have that lovely honey smell like other waxes do. It melted way kind of fast (compared to Bramble Berry premium wax) and the color was lighter. It also doesn’t feel as hard and it took longer to harden in the mold. It just feels weird to me. I am still going to use it though and I may purchase again because it’s a good value for the $$$ *Please seal the bags completely, I had some pellets fly off as I was opening the box * Second picture shows: Honeycomb to the left was made using brambleberry wax Honeycomb to the right was made using this wax. Not sure if you can tell the difference.

Great Value
Saved a lot of money on this purchase as new suppliers are charging from $7.50 a pound for uncleaned wax to $11 a pound for clean wax bars. These pellets work great in my wax melting pot when I’m wax framed.

This is not pure beeswax
I really hate giving low reviews and I have debated on if I should, but I think other buyers should know. They get one star for Amazon’s delivery being on time. This was on sale so I thought I would give it a try, even though others claimed it wasn’t pure beeswax. The claim is that it’s organic cosmetic grade beeswax. Well, you can tell by looking at the pellets that it isn’t. If you have never used real beeswax before then you could totally be fooled. I made taper and pillar candles with the wax. First, you can smell the wax through the box and plastic bag. It’s a chemically, plastic smell that’s masked in like baby powder scent or something. It’s terrible and you can smell it across the room. Then, the finished product is VERY shiny and super hard/flakey. When I took them out of their molds and sat them down it sounded like hard plastic hitting the table. I would not put this in or on my body. I’m a little concerned about burning it because I have no idea what’s in it. I’m considering having the wax tested before doing anything else with it. If the company can produce a REAL report stating that it’s what they claim, then I will just chalk it up to a difference in regions/flowers and accept it. If not, or if my testing comes back saying something different I will report them. I’m tired of the toxins and poisons that are allowed in cosmetics, food, health products, etc…and the lies. If you are cool with all of this then get you some.
