Cozy Bay 3m Large Parasol Aluminium with Crank for Dining Garden Sun Patio

We normally don't 'do' reviews due to a bad feed-back experience that was wrong but we were so impressed by the quality, strength and above all value of the parasol that we have no hesitation in giving it five stars.

I got this for my dad after the wooden one broke during an accident. My dad is 62 YOA. He likes it; says it is light and easy to put up. The crank is easy to use and a pin is inserted to stop it coming down; my dad does this via standing on the table.

Winding mechanism broken on arrival. Painful to return something large via couriers.

We've been very impressed with the quality of this parasol. Into our 3rd year of use and it's as good as new. We do always store it in its original box and protective plastic cover.

I just assembled this. You will need to buy a base separately at extra cost. The product looks to be of good quality, especially the opening and closing mechanism. Unfortunately there was a small hole in the canvas at the top of the umbrella, which was a bit disappointing but providing it doesn't get larger, it shouldn't make too much difference to sun shading capability. Would have been a 5* had it not been for the hole.

The pole dimension is 48mm, not 38mm, which meant it wouldn't fit in the parasol base I had so had to buy another base. Aside from that, the parasol is excellent quality, better than others I have seen at much higher price.

Great parasol and easy to put up and down. Perfect for summer days in the garden and provides good shelter - when the sun is shining!! We have ours in base with wheels so we can shift it around easily.
