Really happy with this Noxton hob. Bought it on Amazon for less than 100. Installation was easy as it fitted into existing cut out from previous hob. The power cable has two lives and two neutrals but the cable ends are crimped in solder which makes it handy for connecting to the power. Looks really well in this space. Smart design. Very easy to use, it responds and heats up very quickly. Hard to beat at the price, it's great value.

Excellent to a degree. However, because it is fitted with a 13 amp plug, it means you cannot have all four rings on full power at the same time. Unlike some induction hobs that are wired directly to the mains box (allowing 30 amps or so in operation). If you do try to switch all rings to full power on this Noxton, it automatically adjusts (lowers) one or more of the rings. Not a deal breaker, but please be aware. Much safer and easier to clean than the gas hob it replaced and a doddle to fit (just remove old hob and the Noxton just dropped into place without too much fettling). I had to pay a registered Gas Fitter £60 to cap off the gas, but did everything else myself. Finally, as other reviewers have said, it is a bit noisy.

Good looking hob, easy to install, rings heat up very quick, but take very long time to cool down, which was confusing to a point that we even though the hob was connected wrong or faulty. After initially installing and testing each ring for a few seconds it took almost an hour for the hob to completely cool down and the H from each ring to disappear. Very easy to use, but will take some getting used to with heat levels.

I was really amazed with this. We bought it to replace a gas hob as we had solar installed so it made sense to move to electric. It was an excellent price and fast delivery. The unit was a little chunkier than my gas one so I had to make the worktop hole bigger. Brilliant that it's just a plug in hob. Simple installation and it controls the power across the rings well. Looks great, easy to clean. Needed to buy new pans but that's my fault.

Our hob stopped working so I needed a replacement quickly. I looked around at what was available and checked out the reviews and decided to give this "budget" hob a go. So glad I did! Very easy to install, no fuss, fitted and working straight away. It has two small rings and two large rings. It has touch control so no buttons to get in the way or gather dirt. The appliance comes on when you rest your finger on the "on" button for a few seconds. To turn on a ring you touch the ring button you require and then press the plus or minus sign. The buttons are extremely sensitive so if you put anything on them they sound an alarm. The ring symbol flashes while the ring is warm as a precaution. Great hob and fab price.

I bought this, it lasted a few months not a few years. Cheap rubbish. Do not buy this. The hob stopped detecting pans even though these pans were detected before and are now being detected on a new replacement, decent branded hob. Also the seller is terrible and does not respond to return requests. Do not waste your time with this hob (Noxton) or this terrible Amazon seller: (Best Kitchenor).

Would never go back to anything else to cook on

Habe ein günstiges Induktionsfeld gesucht. Gekauft, verbaut, angeschlossen und... ... Hammermäßig überrascht worden. Einen Pott Wasser zB für Nudeln aufgesetzt und innerhalb 90s(!) am Kochen. Ich empfinde das Kochfeld als extrem schnell. Klare Kaufempfehlung

L'installazione è molto semplice grazie Alle dimensioni standard e la spina shucko integrata. Il cavo è lungo circa 1 metro. La ventola è un po' rumorosa, ma su spegne solo pochi secondi dalla spegnimento della piastra. La superficie lucida si pulisce molto semplicemente con un panno bagnato.
