Disappointed with Dry and Stale Panettones
I purchased two “Bauducco Panettone with Chocolate Chips” on December 14th, 2024, and unfortunately, both were disappointing. The first one, with an expiration date at the end of February, was noticeably dry—much drier than any Bauducco panettone I’ve had before. The second one, expiring at the end of July, wasn’t dry, but it definitely didn’t taste fresh. Overall, I was expecting the classic soft, moist texture and rich flavor, but these loaves fell short. I love Bauducco’s products, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t buy them online again.

I have ordered these before and was very happy. But this order they were not as moist, I’m not sure why because use by date is 2/24/2025. Was disappointed.

I enjoyed the Bauducco Panettone with Chocolate Chips over the holidays, and it was amazing! The cake was super moist, fresh, and full of chocolatey goodness. Having a slice with my morning coffee became a little ritual—it’s that delicious! I’ve tried other brands, like Ferrara, but Bauducco has this perfect balance of sweetness and lightness. The chocolate chips are generous without overpowering, and it tastes like it just came out of the oven. If you’re looking for a classic holiday treat to enjoy with coffee, this panettone is it!

I've bought this in a store twice and it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. So when I saw it on Amazon I was surprised but happy, because this time I didn't have to go to a store and look and it might not be there. After trying the mini vanilla and was disappointed, and hoping this one wouldn't be the same. To my luck it was just as dry and lacking moisture and I didn't want to bother offering it to my niece. I don't remember complaining to Amazon about them. I would recommend it when it's fresh because it's good otherwise.
