How effective is this product to clean up remove pitted marks from bushcraft knifes and garden tools?

I don’t think it will be very effective. I have used it to remove surface rust after a couple of hours with some minor pitting on a carbon steel kitchen knife and the pitting is still visible. I guess you would need something stronger. It is useful though to clean up dull, patinated or minor rust on metals.
