I was curious to see what the big hype was all about in the air fryer world when it came to cooking at home. I searched online for an air fryer unit and the price range to purchase one - was from $70 all the way up to $200! A little too rich for my taste, for just another kitchen gadget to be sitting on my counter, collecting dust incase I wasn’t a fan of it. So then I came across this Bakken Swiss Air Fryer Tray on sale for $13.97 as a fantastic substitute, for that price I gave it a try, and loved it! I use this as an air fryer on the convection setting of my Oster toaster oven. The basket and tray slides perfectly into the oven rack. I did place foil on the bottom of the tray for an oily easy clean up. I choose to test this tray on some wing dings (frozen chicken wings). I used spray pam and coated the basket, then placed the chicken down. I then set it to 425 degrees on the convection setting, cooked for 25 mins, then flipped and cooked for another 15 mins. My wings came out amazing! The outside had a perfect golden brown crunch, and the inside was so juicy tender. Just as if I deep fried it! My family and I loved it, and asked for seconds! I have used many times, and highly enjoy it! As for food portions, it is big enough for two, maybe three people. Cleaning was no problem, any food caught in the grate can be easily dislodged with an a sink sponge and still looks new. I would highly recommend to give it a try!

I really like this 2-piece crisper tray set. It works great in my air fryer, cleans up easily, and food doesn’t stick to it. A simple, useful addition to my kitchen that I’m very happy with.
