As a handyman, I often use a laser level for tv mounts, shelves etc. but my tripod is only 1.2m high. With this mount, I can clip the laser to any rung on my ladder, or a shelf etc.What I didn't know until I got this today is that it comes with a rubber strap that allows it to be fixed to a pole without using the jaw! That removes any restrictions. It's so tough I could even use it on my bike!It's also very stiff so unlike to sink or deflect while in use.I am very happy with this mount and can't wait to use it!

The clamp can expand to about a 2inch gap.I bought this for holding my gopro to random stuff while i was building a workshop. It worked great as it could just about grip around the shorter side of the 2x4 beams. Really sturdy too. After about 4 months of use (and going in the ocean multiple times) the screw at the bottom of the bendy pole is slightly lose but that doesn't matter because it can just be tightened.Would highly recommend.

I bought 2 of these.. use them to hold each their own aputure ML09 lights, which they do pretty well using the gopro-like snap-mount and adatpter that came with the arm.. when I went to remove the snap-mount from the end of the arm, one of the little tips broke.. and upon trying to undo it completely, the other tip broke.. Fortunately I have a genuine gopro-adapter that fits instead, but now I don't dare remove the adapter from the other arm..

I bought this for my grandson and it has become an invaluable friend for him. He uses it a lot to stream football matches and other items on his mobile phone while he works on his MacBook. He also uses it to remind him of events, et cetera, by clipping tickets and stuff to it. It has 100 uses and he now depends on it.

After only 11 uses, the clamp has completely detached. Worked well until it just decided to snap. Do not recommend for its price.

Works a treat, very sturdy and flexible

The clamp is pretty awesome. It securely fixes, plus the rubber band adjust the diameter of the opening as a bonusReally disappointed with the goose neck extension. The pieces that are assembled with each other let you articulate the extension, in whatever position you need. Whether it stays in place is up to the gods. I've spent ages adjusting cameras (GoPros etc), but it often find the camera face down. Recently the extension has become looser. I only use it in one place (a branch for example) an it appears the slightest vibration causes it to drop. I now have two doing the same. Worthless tat, when you place a 150g camera on the mount on a stationary post and the gooseneck flops down. I wouldn't be comfortable putting any of my expensive photography kit on it
