20000+ Magic Purple Creeping Thyme Seeds for Planting Ground Cover Plants Heirloom Flowers Perennial Thyme Non-GMO Thymus Serpyllum Seed

You need to be a chemist or something to get these to grow. There are about 1000 seeds. I keep trying but, I cannot get them to germinate. If others can, then I'm sure this is a deal. I've never had a problem with any other type of seed.

I spent 20 years eliminating my need to mow grass. The final space was along the street curb by the sidewalk. This has been growing well for six years now and appears to bloom at lease twice each season (Zone 7A) with a minimum of watering. It does creep, so I trim it off the sidewalk each October to make snow removal easier. It has been hardy and holds up well under snow.

I planted these in the spring and literally nothing sprouted.

I haven't spread it yet, but i was surprised at the size of the package. I'll update once I've planted.

So I will need to update my review in a few weeks. I believe the seeds germinated quicker than they should have and with two out of the three pots, I have an extra unidentified plant. I did use new homemade seedling mix. The products I used to make the mix were new but the seed trays were not. There could have been some contamination. I will update (if I remember) once I have established plants. Pretty cheap seeds that are not easy to find locally.

Not a single sprouted after weeks of being planted

Everything I read about starting creeping time said it was almost impossible to get started. . Well I made a nice soil mix around and above my rock walls. I planted the seeds. I put a very light dusting of soil over them and then also a very light layer of mulch. I watered them thoroughly twice a day and in a very short period of time they started to emerge. I was so delighted that so much of it germinated. I will continue to baby them until I get my first flowers. I truly was surprised they even germinated. very happy.
