Sample story that goes with the Rosary Valentine ""Mordechai instructed Esther to go into the king's presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for her people." Esther 4:8 Known for several centuries as "Our Lady of Victory," the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is on the anniversary of the battle of Lepanto. Pope St. Pius V attributed the victory to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was invoked on the day of the battle campaign with the Rosary throughout Europe. "The Rosary is the 'weapon' for these times." -Saint Padre Pio Copyright Salutare Stationery
