I cant remove stuck Grohe thermoelement cartridge 47450 for examination and probable replacement. 24mm thread, turn anti clocwise. Ideas please.

First of all check out YouTube video "Grohe automatic 2000 thermostat renovation" When cartridge is exposed use fixed 24mm spanner and tap gently with a hammer in anti clockwise direction. You might want to spray Wd40 to help loosen the cartridge.

Hi I have a shower cartridge part no 47450. Does this cartridge come supplied with the black plastic knob that the chrome knob screws onto please?

No it does not. I have no black plastic knob in my 4745000 part box.

I have an Automatic 200 mixer tap with shower and I bought the 47450000 thermostat fo it.The thermostat on my tap is on the right and no way this fits

I have used this thermostat on a Grohe shower only and recommend that if your automatic 200 mixer tap is made by Grohe, then give their customer service a call, I found them to be very helpful.
