Set in a noir 1940s mob town, players navigate a tense journey of cooperation and betrayal over 60 minutes. Featuring 216 cards, detailed player interaction, and a unique 'sometimes cooperative' format, it’s perfect for couples or small groups seeking a fresh, immersive game night experience. ## Description Mantis Falls is a "sometimes cooperative" hidden traitor strategy game for 2-3 players. It mixes hand-building and tactical card play with deduction and tenuous cooperation. On the dark film-noir roads of mob-ruled Mantis Falls in the 1940s, you are witnesses hunted for your information. You now must survive the night and escape town alive. Working together, you will need to frequently cooperate and trust one another to navigate the night, but things may not all be as they seem. Each game may be entirely witnesses - meaning players can only win by all surviving together - or there could secretly be an assassin hidden among you, subtly manipulating the situation and waiting for the right moment to strike. You'll make concealed moves and develop hidden plans, but also need to have thorough conversations throughout as you discuss tactics, defend choices and bluff to protect carefully guarded secrets. In your slow walk, you will seek allies, acquire tools and become encumbered by grave afflictions. The steps forward present secret "unseen" events and double-edged action cards, which stir confusion and degrade confidence. As the night wears, witnesses and assassins alike will need to tread the line between the value of teamwork and a preparation to kill.Mantis Falls creates a unique and tense game experience, meant to draw you into the characters' horrifying night and make you feel the profound power, and danger, that can come from our ability to trust. Like life, Mantis Falls is a cooperative game that is only really cooperative sometimes. ## Features - Like life... a cooperative game that's only really cooperative sometimes. - HIDDEN TRAITOR GAME FOR 2-3 PLAYERS: Mantis Falls is a strategic hidden traitor game designed for a uniquely low player count. The result is a heart-pounding, intimate game of trust and betrayal. - HIGH PLAYER INTERACTION: The "sometimes cooperative" format and the necessity of collaboration yield a game with nuanced conversation and detailed player interaction. - PERFECT FOR COUPLES AND SMALL GROUPS: The low player count, high interactivity and thematic setting create a deep journey for couples and friends to experience together. Bring it out on smaller game nights or after you tuck the kids in for the night! - A STRATEGY CARD GAME: Mantis Falls utilizes more strategic decision-making than most "social deduction party games". Suit-based action cards, detailed hand-management choices and diverse combo effects make this a great game for tactical thinkers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B099X86WZJ | | Age Range Description | 14 years | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #136,329 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #4,668 in Board Games | | Brand Name | Distant Rabbit Games | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | Choking Hazard - Small Parts | | Color | Multicolor | | Country of Publication | China | | Customer Package Type | FFP | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (156) | | Edition | Standard Edition | | Educational Objective | Enhance strategic thinking, teamwork, and social interaction skills | | Estimated Playing Time | 60 Minutes | | Genre | Strategy | | Included Components | 216 Cards, 1 Playmat, 6 Cloth Bags, 3 Wooden Player Pieces, 3 Wooden Roses, 6 Wooden Buttons, 1 Manual and 220 Card Sleeves. | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 16.5 x 22.2 x 6 centimeters | | Item Dimensions L x W | 16.5L x 22.2W centimeters | | Item Highlight | Psychological Deduction & Betrayal, 60–90 Minutes, Ages 14+, Premium Card Quality, Plastic-Free Components | | Item Type Name | Game | | Item Weight | 971 g | | Manufacturer | Distant Rabbit Games | | Manufacturer Part Number | MFR2021DR | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 years and up | | Material Type | Cardboard | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 14 | | Model Number | MFR2021DR | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 2 to 3 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Set Name | Mantis Falls | | Size | 8.74 x 6.5 x 2.36 inches | | Supported Battery Types | No batteries required | | Theme | Action | | UPC | 860005764006 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Distant Rabbit Games - **Genre:** Strategy - **Material:** Cardboard - **Number of players:** 2 to 3 - **Theme:** Action ## Images ![Mantis Falls - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71D-67FVHML.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Mantis Falls Board Game | Hidden Traitor Strategy Card Game for 2-3 Players | Sometimes Cooperative Adventure Game for Adults and Teens | Ages 14+ | Playtime 60-90 Minutes | by Distant Rabbit Games - Pillbox Games Side Effects: Unleash The Fun & Chaos Using Therapy & Medication in This Hit Card Game for 2 to 8 Players - The Night Cage by Smirk and Dagger, a Spooky Cooperative Strategy Game, 1-5 Players Lost in a Dark Maze with only a Candle, Fun Horror Themed Tile Laying and Perfect for Game Night, Adults, Teens 14+ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://virgin.desertcart.com/products/547803523-mantis-falls](https://virgin.desertcart.com/products/547803523-mantis-falls) --- *Product available on Desertcart British Virgin Islands* *Store origin: VG* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
