Stay healthy and achieve your ideal weight with the help of this portable and personal blood type guide. ___________ It's science! Different blood types mean different body chemistries. Eating foods that your blood type can process easily can help you lose weight and ward off illness - as well as giving you bags of energy. Based on your genetic make-up, EAT RIGHT 4 YOUR BLOOD TYPE means eating foods that are compatible with your individual chemistry. For example, if your blood type is O, then you will enjoy your best health on a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. Carry this handy checklist with you wherever you go, so you can make the right food choices in the supermarket, while eating out or on holiday. Inside are comprehensive listings of what's right for Type O in all of the main food, drink and supplement categories, so you can avoid putting on those extra pounds or feeling unwell from eating the wrong thing. Soon you'll be on your way to developing the perfect prescription plan for your type. Review: Righty-O - This Book is a Type 'O' extract from the book 'Live Right For Your Type'. It's a 'pocket size' book, ideal as a notepad reminder - especially for a 'top up' on your weekly grocery shopping. It contains a list of foods, liquids and supplements beneficial, neutral and avoidable to Blood Group Type 'O's. There are no daily/weekly 'plans' to follow or goals to acheive, just advice on quantity amounts - apparently, African, Asian and Caucasions require different proportions of food intakes. There are testimonies from other Type 'O's, and the Introduction to the book takes a peak at the relationship between what we consume as foods, and what we digest as liquids through our blood stream. If this is your first encounter with the work of Peter J. D'Adamo, you will find that so far as 'The List' is concerned, the information is repetitive in all Peter J. D'Adamo's other 'Eat/Live Right For Your Type' books. What differentiates his work in his books is that he has a way of devising a dietry plan to follow - according to your blood group type - based upon a health regime of healing/repair system for future preventative measures. This book itself - 'The List' 'appears' to be a carbon copy of the book 'Blood Type O, Food Beverage And Supplement Lists', with a different title - I guess for sales and marketing purposes in order to target different readers, but in terms of book/page dimensions this book is slightly bigger. The Table of Contents says it all, so there is no Index. Thank You! Review: Definitely on to something there - I bought this book out of curiosity as I've been aware for some time that certain foods were making me feel unwell. I ate a digestive biscuit earlier today and promptly ballooned up so far that I had to loosen my clothes. I do not have coeliac and the doctors are stumped, so I'm going it alone to find the answer. Interestingly, the foods that I suspected and had already begun to eliminate from my diet are the same foods that D'Adamo list as foods to avoid for blood type O. I see several dieticians have disparaged this book in reviews here, citing varied diet as the main reason for increased lifespan. As a historian, I'd argue that food hygiene and freshness, decent sanitations and the eradication of many diseases are all contributory to extended lifespan in general. We eat more than one meal a day and it isn't half rotten or crawling with disease, for example. D'Adamo's book makes perfect sense to me as someone experiencing exactly the problems he talks about. Grains and dairy in particular have made me feel ill for years and he indicates these as the most detrimental foods for type O. Beef is the most beneficial, and when I am in a recovery phase the one thing I crave inexplicably is beef. My body knows what I should and shouldn't be eating and what it knows perfectly coincides with the information in this book; too much of a coincidence for me to think this book does not have something important to say. The Kindle version did make me laugh with some of the typos. A tiny amount of choose per week might have been confusing had it not been in the same column as eggs and milk, and I might adopt the tublespoon as a new measurement in my kitchen. There's nothing that greatly spoils the content and to Kindle readers it's probably no surprise to spot the errors. I will not be following the diet absolutely to the letter, but I will use it to help adjust what I eat so that my food no longer makes me ill.

All the information you will ever need ! Fabulous book!
I wish I'd bought these books years ago! They are fabulous! My bibles. You can't get more to the truth than your actual blood type. If your looking for books like this, then chances are you are suffering with some kind of health problem and you've tried everything else, with no joy. You could be eating really healthy like i was and still suffering, but these books tell you what your personal blood type can and can't handle, healthy or not. What's good for some is not good for others, that's why all those diets out there work for some and not for others. I have a bowel/colon condition and been suffering for years, living on the advice of doctors who say lots of fiber and greens are the answer, they couldn't be more wrong, I realised this before purchasing this book but now i know why, I have my answers. I recommend this book and all the other blood type books, I have them all and can now live right for my type. The Avoid section is so helpful, really makes life a lot easier. There are so many alternatives out there now that cutting out the bad stuff is not a problem. I recommend the live right and the recipe books also.

Book is out of date. Use the website for the latest, up to date information on food, drinks and supplements for your type....
The Eat Right For Your Type and Live Right For Your Type books are good to read, to gain an understanding of the founding principles and approach of this sensible, scientifically proven approach to diet, nutrition and lifestyle. However, as food, drink and supplement lists are constantly updated, the book was out of date as soon as it was published. Much better to visit the website for the latest, up to date information. Also worth noting that as well as knowing your blood type, it's worth knowing if you are a secretor or non-secretor to be able to tailor your plan accordingly. Tests are available from the website to establish this.

Great Diet.....I feel great....BUT buy the main book rather than this one!
This diet is amazing! This book is not in-depth enough, So I ended up buying the main "Eat for your blood type book" with all blood groups in as it is more in-depth! I have struggled for about 4 years to loose weight. I could not shed a lb, no matter how much I tried and how healthy I ate. I felt crap all the time and blamed it on having a baby (who is now 5) I was then diagnosed with ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) and fibromyalgia. I spend a couple of years resting as that was what I was told to do and didn't feel any better. I tried everything in a bid to make myself feel better...... I did intolerance tests, saw homeopaths, tried super strict diets, ate superfoods ect.... and nothing worked! Some one suggested this book to me and I have changed my eating ways for LIFE now! This doesn't seem like a diet at all, I have just swapped things around (i.e. potato chips, for parsnip chips, which are actually nicer) I feel great, I actually wake up and want to do things rather than feeling tired all the time. I have lost nearly a stone (without excising, just following the acting plan) in 6 weeks and I have energy! I have actually tried everything in this book somewhere along the line, Diary free, Gluten free ect.... but never put it all together. It makes sense to me and is defiantly working! I will never go back to eating my poison list and I don't miss it at all. If you are reading this and you felt crap like me......Give it a try!

Know your blood type
Someone suggested I read this book. I had spent years always watching my weight. I thought I was eating good food but often had a bloated stomach. I bought this book, and after reading it I went out and bought all the suggested food, and I am now 2 weeks eating to my blood type. I no longer have a bloated stomach and my food cravings have gone. I seem to be able to eat more food and no longer snack between meals. As long as you know which blood type you are, it is worth reading the book because it goes into great detail what certain foods can do to you. I will be getting the cook book next.

This is the key, answer.
After decades of dieting and much success at weight watchers before they changed the plan, dispite the success I was always hungery.I attended slimming world where you can eat, pasta, rice and potato as free food whereby I put weight on. I was treated as if I had been cheating on the diet and not following the plan I would put weight on, yet other people were losing weight. After years of feeling so cheated dispite all my efforts and no constant weight loss or lack of hunger I discovered the blood group diet. For the first time ever it all fell into place and the weight is dropping off at two pounds a week, thank you God I make the effort and get results, that is all I have ever wanted. A great book, once you have the answer you can succeed.

KEEP AN OPEN MIND
This supplement book is very good when thinking of choices that are more beneficial to your blood type. The greatest drawback that I would see from this book and the other books tailored to a specific blood type is the radical change involved in overall lifestyle. My opinion is that food is a great part of our lifestyle. The idea of changing it significantly is powerful. What I have realized is that although it is actual work to stick to a regimen in my eating, I enjoy the time that I can spend preparing my foods and the greater understanding that I have with my body. This book has helped me understand my body in regards to what to AVOID. I still sulk sometimes knowing that it doesn't help my body to have dairy products, but the idea of getting even closer to how my body behaves and reacts is incredible.

Me esperaba mas
Es muy simple por lo que pagas. Es un resumen de sus libros anteriores pero solo para el grupo O pero sin explicar nada en detalle. Muy superficial.
