This Picture Was Paint On Canvas Paper, First One Done In These Oil Paint's. I Will Continue To Work With These Paints, No Problems With The Set All Tube's Paints Where Full And No Leaks. For Easy Brush Cleaning I Use Low Odor Thinner. Yes I Would Recomend To All Artist.

I got these for my sister, and she really likes them. They work great.

The paint itself is great, and the price is good for oils, but some paints don’t match the color on the tube, and none (except Titanium White) have traditional color names, but are instead given unique names, which makes it really hard to predict their nature (cool versus warm) and how they will mix, and also makes it difficult to follow along with tutorials or art lessons because these colors and their names don’t match what everyone else is using. But the quality is great though, as you can see in this video and photos; the colors are vibrant, glossy, and opaque (unless you thin them with Galkyd, which I did just to boost their glossy translucence even further), and there was no chunkiness in the paints’ consistency. you just have to remember what color paint is actually inside which tubes since the colors on the outside are substantially off (warmer, cooler, or a very different hue), which can be a little bit frustrating sometimes. If you make a color chart though and refer to it instead of the tubes, then you’ll be fine.

I haven't use them yet but the price was great and received quickly. I am looking forward to get more art stuff.

Bright and vibrant colors with a great variety for the price. Perfect for any budding artist. I personally used it to paint my wood carvings and it brought them to a whole new level. Like with any oil paints allow it several days to dry after painting.

Bought as a Christmas gift and recipient was happy with it.

They are good oil paints

These paints are great for the price. They were my first oil set and were great for a beginner. On the down side, most of the tubes leak oil out after they've been opened. But maybe that's just me being messy when I use them. I saw in the reviews that some people complained that they are stinky and the labels fall off. I haven't found either of these to be problems. I've had a really hard time making realistic green shades for trees with the two green tubes in this set. I bought some "sap green" separately and I find that it works much better. If you want to paint like Bob Ross, this is not the ideal set. The wet on wet technique that he uses requires very thick paint. This is not thick paint. This still works, but it's will be a bit frustrating at times, especially on the mountains. The colors like to blend together.

Useless oil colours, product supplied was different from what was shown on Amazon site. Colours are not dissolving in any oil, I tried linseed oil, turpentine oil and walnut oil. This is a case of pure and simple cheating. Such vendors should be blacklisted from Amazon.
