Installed this on my VW passat. It was a difficult process for me, but if you have the right tools it will be smooth. Looks great, good material, fits perfectly for my VW, feels better than the older one, and it works great. Iโm happy with my purchase.

VW wanted to charge me $500 to fix my broken shifter. I was able to do it myself for around $50. I feel like that's a good deal. This kit did not include a collar to tie things down so I am a little concerned about this shifter popping off but let's see how it goes. There were also no instructions included. It lights up on the stick which is nice but I need to get used to the feeling.

Good but no instructions, I put it on my mk6 jetta sportwagen YouTube helped a bit but no tutorials for this model also the wiring won't fit under the normal gearshift selector so you'll have to get a manual boot. The clamp to hold to boot to the base is flimsy and doesn't hold well. I used a small metal clamp it holds much better. Great for esthetics though.

Very easy installation and functional. It fits my car and functions the appropriate manner.
