This product is made from the highest quality Oak and has a really solid weight giving it a lovely feel. It is bound to make a great addition to any kitchen and dining table but, to be sure, we hand finish each carved board with a gentle sanding then a generous coat of food safe mineral oil to protect the wood. In addition to the carved design on the face of the board, we can also carve messages into the 4 sides. This creates a really personal gift.
