Sony WH-CH720NL Noise Canceling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Built-in Microphone - up to 35 Hours Battery Life and Quick Charge - Navy Blue

I really like these headphones. Firstly, they are light and comfortable, though it took a few hours of wearing them for them not to feel a little annoying after about a half hour of listening/wearing. The cups clear my big ol’ dinner plate ears well, and the band is not bothersome on the top of my Cretan skull. I have a pretty large head, seriously. Secondly, they sound great. These are replacing a pair of Raycons I had for years that had become pretty bedraggled and tattered. The sound profile is similar, but a good bit punchier and slightly more dynamic while still retaining warmth overall. I have read that these are considered bass-heavy in their sound signature, which might be a little true, but I don’t find them distractingly so at all. And their equalization is adjustable in the app if I ever feel the need to sculpt their vibe. These get a bit louder than the Raycons too, which I like from time to time. The app, however, will alert you if you listen at too high a decibel rating for too long, which some might find invasive, but I actually appreciate the heads up. I am a complete dunderhead if left unchecked My third point is about the app that I’ve already touched on. Through I have kept the equalizer off other that futzing with it when I first got these, it is a pretty good, easily navigable and intuitive app. It also keeps track of your listening habits and allows you to adjust the volume, etc. from your phone. It does a bunch of other crap, too. Handy. Fourthly, the noise cancelling is good, though I really wouldn’t care if these didn’t have noise cancelling at all. I leave it on auto and the app informs me if it switched to ambient when I am walking around. When I am sitting on my porch, for example, it knows I am “staying” and it activates the noise cancelling, but if I get up to toss a beer can in the recycling, it switched to ambient so I can hear the can go “clink!” when I toss it. These things are smarter than I am! Anyway, periods of “staying” punctuated by and beer-can-tossing is about as hectic as it gets around here. I can tell these’d be great on a flight or while riding as a passenger in a car. In those contexts, though, I am usually too interested in all the morons around me than to check out with headphones. I typically use these things at home. Lastly—the price. I got them for $100. About the cost of a light grocery store run these day. I mean, come on. If I LOST a Franklin, I’d be mortified, but only for a few days or so. Definitely a fair deal. Anyway, I am glad I bought them and see them lasting a good while. Definitely recommend. Hope this helps!

Very good sound quality at a good price point. Works well for music listening (clear sound, a little bassy) as well as making calls or remote work. A little too big for walking but they are ok too for that purpose.

Great product, great quality and rugged design. Bought another on for my daughter. Worth for money.

I tried the soundcore q30 and space ones. Spaces ones had more features but the sound was lacking too much for me. Bass want good and the volume was lacking as well. The q30’s were better even though they are older than the space ones. I returned both since I wasn’t impressed with the sound. Both for too loose as well. Kept falling off with little movement. I decided to try the Sony 720n and I am glad I did. Although they do not fold up as much as the soundcores they do have a pretty flat profile when turned inward. Light as heck and fit well without falling off. Very good clear bass and the noise reduction works well at this price point. These have been around for while for a reason. I thought about trying the soundcore Q45, but I saw some YouTube reviews saying the Sony still sounded better than the soundcores and with my experience in trying the other two soundcore models, I figured Sony would probably sound better. You can’t go wrong with these Sony 720’s and they have a nice slimmer design to them. Great purchase.

I am writing to express my sincere satisfaction with this product. Its performance has significantly exceeded my expectations, surpassing several similar products I've used previously. The noise-canceling capabilities as well as the clarity are particularly effective, proving invaluable in creating a focused work environment. This is especially beneficial for individuals like myself who manage conditions such as autism or ADHD. Beyond its functionality, the product's durability and ease of cleaning and easy bluetooth connectivity are noteworthy. The comfortable fit also contributes to its overall effectiveness. The superior quality justifies the price point. I highly recommend your product.

I love these. I’ll be ordering a second pair to use at work.

Out of the box, I honestly thought these headphones were pretty average. I was slightly disappointed and considering returning. THEN, I found the Sony Headphones Connect app and adjusted sound settings to my preferred balance. Now, these are the best headphones I've ever owned! The sound is amazing. I'm so glad I learned about the app and didn't just return them. Highly recommend!

I am writing this review on October 1, 2024. I bought these headphones on August 31, 2023. My office got moved next to railroad tracks just a few blocks from a railway depot. I was wanting some middle of line noise cancelling headphones as the trains are very loud and disruptive. These headphones did the trick. I use them every day that I am work, and I rarely hear the trains (although the whistles can still be heard). However, recently, they have been disconnecting from the bluetooth for no reason. I will be sitting here working, and my podcast or audiobook will pause. When I hit play again, it will be coming through my phone speakers and not the headphones. The bluetooth on my phone is still turned on. I have to turn the headphones off and then on again. This wasn't that big of deal when it was just once or twice a week. It is 11a, and it has already happened three times today. It happened twice yesterday. I was really hoping to get more than a year out of these headphones. I have a slightly nicer set of Sony headphones at home that get even more use that have never done this. Very disappointing for headphones that are pretty awesome otherwise.

This is my first time purchasing this type of product. I was very nervous but am pleased. The noise cancelling works very well. They are soft on my ears. The sound is very clear. They also last a very long time between charging.

I wasn't that impressed with these headphones till I installed the app. Switching on "DSEE" and setting equaliser to "bright" transformed sound quality. 80s synth music sounds amazing on these headphones. Very happy with these.
