330 Pcs Brass M2 Hex Spacer Standoffs, Screws Nuts Assortment Kit, PCB Circuit Board Motherboard Standoffs

When they came they were a jumbled mess, all fallen into one half of the case. I counted the 4 biggest sizes which all matched up and the nuts and screws had a few extras. The quality is nice, there are no burs or deformities, theyre clean, theyre heavy and the threads are accurate and precise. They also fit with some nylon M2 spacers I have perfectly. At first it might seem like a ripoff to get a lot more of the nuts and screws, but what that does is free up more of the actual spacers for the next board, instead of needing to stack them in order to fasten. Plus they make your boards look sick when you top them with screws. Im using these with arduino, esp32, random PCBs, RTCs, prototyping stuff etc. and these are the size you want. I think I tried some M3s and they were a hair too big. These are perfect!

This 330-piece hardware kit arrived promptly, as shown, and was exactly all I had hoped it would be. I've been building a project on proto-boards and for the first time ever, needed an additional board "stacked" above another. The boards I had purchased included a few of the black plastic/nylon standoffs, but they felt and looked cheap, so I decided to buy these. These brass pieces feel strong when screwing them together and they have a bright & shiny finish that makes my circuit board work look a little more professional. The price is just right with these too. There's enough hardware in this kit to last any electronics-hobbyist for a long time!

Male parts threaded in easily to holes I tapped -- until they jammed. Looks like the threads are not cut all the way to the standoff, and are not turned down where they're not threaded so they will go all the way in flush. You'll either have to drill out a shoulder to accommodate that, or use the little nylon washers included which will add a millimeter to the height. Hex portion is not metric drive, 5mm was too big, 4.5 too small, best fit was 3/16-inch.

Quality control needs better improvement; one of the M3x15+6mm is stripped. Not sure if more screw is having issues too. As for value-wise, it's great. If it wasn't the poor quality control, I would give at least 4 stars.

M2 standoffs, but looks like M3 screws. Replacement had same issue. Useless. As other have said, case doesn't keep pieces separated.

I had the hardest time with the size nomenclature of these standoffs. Research as I did, I guess I still didn't understand the size I was buying. I am still able to use them. Quality manufacture. Large assortment at a good price.
