Not secure enough. Velcro can come apart.
2 problems with this wrist strap: The velcro wrist band does not adjust down small enough to fit my (small) wrist so slipped right off. Also, I don't think attaching it to my wrist with velcro is secure enough. With a strong tug by larger dogs, the velcro comes apart. A metal snap would be better.
